I've owned this hair dryer since 2024, and it's been an excellent value for the price. It has performed reliably, and I'm very satisfied with the overall quality. As a male, it works perfectly for my needs, and my wife uses it occasionally as well and has been happy with it. The only drawbacks I've noticed are that it's a bit larger than some other models, so it takes up more space when traveling, and the airflow isn't as powerful as some higher-end options. That said, it still dries hair effectively and has never been an issue for us. The rear air filter naturally collects dust over time, but I've only needed to clean it twice since purchasing it, and it continues to perform just as well as when it was new. Overall, it's been a dependable, budget-friendly hair dryer that I'd gladly recommend.

My last hair dryer was a no-name Chinese knock-off of a Dyson, with all the latest bells and whistles: magnetic accessory attachment, brushless silent motor, ionic technology, LED readout.Unfortunately, after about one year, sparks started flying out of that dryer's motor -- I'm lucky the blasted thing didn't set what's left of my hair on fire!So this time around, I thought I would go old-school again and found this very reasonably priced Remington.No, this Remington doesn't have a brushless motor, but its traditional motor is pretty quiet compared to many others I've heard.And its ergonomics are quite solid: the grip is comfortable to hold, the rocker switches fall right to hand, and though the dryer is large, it is well balanced.As an old bald man, I can't say if "ionic tourmaline technology" has any real benefits, but this dryer is packing that ammo for those who believe in it.Last but not least, the dryer appears well made of quality components, including a nice thick, long power cord.All in all, a fine, no-nonsense dryer...
