The craftsmanship is great. There is a lot of attention to detail, including the lining, trim, and ruffle details. The material of the skirt is quite thin (looks like cotton but is rayon) and I wish it was a bit fuller, but that’s kind of expected given the price. I added a petticoat underneath and it makes the dirndl look waaaaaay nicer. Sizing is true to size and the fit is excellent. I normally wear a size 4 and the small fits perfectly. The length hits right at my knees. I would love to support the authentic dirndl makers, as I do love traditional cultural attire, but I can’t justify the cost for something I’d wear just once.
