I used to use sprays and they went on so dark. But this is easy to cover bald spots. It has sponge applicator and you just powder the top or sides of your hair. Just shower and wash out. It lasts for about a week. Does not rinse out in rain or just getting wet. I have brown hair and I buy light brown.

This is fantastic it came in a two set at this price and the items you receive with it makes a nice set, this covers up very well.

I paid $8.49 for this, which was less than half of any of the other similar products I was considering, so I knew going in that I may be sacrificing a bit of quality. But for that price, I was willing to gamble and consider it a bonus if it worked out.It came as a pack of 2, packaged nicely with Q-tips and a small, double-sided, precision applicator brush (good for eyebrows). There is also a soft pad for heavier, broader application cleverly stored in the bottom of each container.It does, in fact, work pretty well and as advertised, and I can see myself using it with some regularity. My scalp was markedly less visible at the front of my hairline and along my part, which made me much less self-conscious.There are some drawbacks, though. I had to use a LOT of product to get good coverage. Not sure how fast I would blow through 2 jars at this rate. I don't know if some of that is technique: maybe I could get better results with less product over time?Also (maybe partly because I had to use so much product) it definitely came off onto my fingers when I touched my scalp. Not terribly, and not if you just barely graze your hand through your hair, but if you rub or scratch your scalp, it's very noticeable. If it's coming off dry, it's certain to come off wet, so I absolutely wouldn't want to be caught in the rain in this stuff, or it would probably be reminiscent of those old school nightmares with black shoe polish running down your face. Also, the amount of product used did dull the hair and make my scalp slightly itchy.Coverage faded some throughout the day, but it still looked significantly better after several hours than if I hadn't used the product at all.Overall, considering the price and that it works as advertised, I'm satisfied with it. It would probably be worth it to pay a little more IF it's for a product that doesn't come off on your fingers as much.

LOVE it! This is my 3rd brand purchase of hair powder. Each one I liked better than the other, not knowing what it was I was missing..just knowing they weren't perfect, hoping to get something a little better. I don't think I need anything "better" after finding this brand. Bought the lt. coffee color (having discovered the color with my 2nd brand purchase, a much better tone than the dark blonde option, but the 2nd brand had little depth, staying power, or pigment richness ..but it was a closer tone/color for my needs). This brand has it all for me, AND it is a terrific match for my eyebrows which are thinning with my age. Finding the eyebrow match has been the same journey as the hair powder..always finding something "good enough", but still lacking..never "perfect". This stuff has proven to be my "PERFECT" match in hair color for my thinning hairline AND my eyebrows. Seriously, I bought this one because it was a 2 pack and therefore cheaper than my other one (which I was having to really layer on just to get the richness in color for coverage. I was going thru the powder at a much faster rate, and didnt like having to return to purchase sooner than I thought i should). Anyways, this stuff (for me) covers, matches, stays ..without layering. This lt coffee color is a better match for me in THIS brand. If youre a medium to dark blonde with random summer lightened hair (or old lightened colored hair) growing out in random stages ..could be a great match! I have a cool skin tone (naturally on the pale side..but not porcelain) and light eyes. (In the photo, u may think its not on my eyebrows..it is! they are just that thin now and basically what u see IS the hair powder (i am NOT a fan of those heavy, bold, bushy eyebrows younger women sport now..I just need an eyebrow, a natural age appropriate eyebrow)

I mean it helps, but I don’t believe this plumps fibers or whatever. It’s essentially eyeshadow and sponge applicator in nice packaging. Like I said, it does the job enough to keep it, but I don’t think it does anything other than color the skin underneath. It is super easy though.

I have significant thinning on top and this product fits the bill. I was a little skeptical but so far I really like it. I work in security and my head gets a little sweaty but I didn’t notice any transfer. Now mind you it’s not a lot but my head does get damp. I like this better than the boldify fibers that I had been using.

Brown goes on a bit dark. Stays on. It’s much easier to apply with the newer applicator. The light brown is more of a struggle to cover the hair.
