Champion Range and Target Wobble Base for Clay Pigeon Skeet Throwers - Champion Wheelybird and Freedom Bird

Don’t hesitate, buy this wobbler to add much more fun to clay shooting. Don’t be me wrong the regular work-horse trap is excellent at throwing clays the exact spot every time. This wobbler addition makes the patterns not the same spot ever time so it adds lots of fun to shooting clays. It does all angles including high clays, and very low clays. With the included spikes, the clay thrower doesn’t move while staked into the ground. Get this wobbler, you won’t regret it! To assemble it it took some tools, and another person to hold it in place while you bolt it, but it was very easy, and it works very well.

Great accessory if on sale! Got it on a black friday sale for about the same price I could have bought it from TEMU for; probably from the same factory. I'm not sure what the "*" after wheelybird means, but I will warn you, the assembly instructions are among the worst I've ever received. I'm pretty mechanically inclined and had to read the manual 3X before starting and there were still problems sorting it out. Part of the problem is that this includes a bunch of unnecessary parts for other models of trap which could have been deleted to lower the price. It runs smoothly now that it's assembled. I'm keeping the extra parts so I can trip over them in the garage for the next 5 years, or in case I find out I need them.

This is the toy every Clays shooter should receive for Christmas. This gives you the closest thing to a sporting Clays course you can have at your home (assuming you have enough room). Easy to install, works great, runs for hours off a small lawn mower battery. The entire thrower can be lifted into the back of my Gator with my 72 year old arms. Highly recommended purchase. I could not be happier with this. I have it mounted on the early Whirlybird .

I got the wobble kit with a new wheelie bird thrower for Christmas. Having used a manual trap thrower for years makes this setup very fun to use. No more consistent throwing patterns like the manual one did. This launches at all different angles and height. It keeps you on your toes. After shooting it for a little while I could get a good idea which way it would throw by watching it. But I could remedy that by hiding it or putting it behind something to make it less predictable. I definitely look forward to using it more. The wobble kit bolted right on to the wheelie bird thrower. The wobbler comes with its own base with legs that I didn’t need. It also has its own set of clips to connect to the battery. I use a deep cycle marine battery with the thrower and wobbler. Each have their own battery clips. You can also turn the wobbler off and use the thrower without the wobble option. Together they were a bit pricey but it sure beats not having to cock a manual thrower.

This is super fun to use. The installation didn't make sense, like others have said. I just bolted the frame to the other side of the wobble kit (you'll see if you're installing on a wheelybird). This is super fun, I've already put over 400 clays through it. This kit doesn't effect the performance of the thrower, and it is easy to use.

I purchased this wobbler to use with the Champion Work Horse clay pigeon machine. Since the two machines were designed to be paired, assembly and attaching the 2 machines together was relatively easy and they have performed flawlessly together. If you block the wobbler from your view it's impossible to know where the next clay will be thrown. This wobbler has really enhanced the challenge and fun of shooting clays compared to a stationary trap and I would recommend it to anyone wanting one. Just be certain your traps mounting and operating system is a compatible design.

Purchased and attached to a wheelybird 2.0. Has been close to two years, but I recall conflicting installation instructions. Regardless had no issues installing. Coming from hand operated spring loaded throwers to this unit configured with the wheelybird is almost breathtaking. No issues with the wobble base, it’s amazing. Did have a wheel randomly fall off the wheelybird which with the wobble actually made some rabbit type shots. Though that has been fixed will purchase with a second unit for a more challenging clay shooting experience.

I have this base mounted on a Workhorse trap. I like that the assembly is light enough that I can still carry the trap with wobble base installed by myself, although it's a little awkward. The wide azimuth variation is great for practicing sporting clays, although I can see why a dedicated trapshooter would prefer a narrower azimuth variation like you'd see in American trap. The elevation variation is my only nitpick; at the lowest elevation, if you are shooting slightly uphill or over tall foliage, the clays thrown at this angle will smack directly into the ground/foliage. To avoid this, you'd have to shim up the front of the base so it throws in a more upward trajectory (this may be the case with the Wheelybird base).

A great add on to your Champion trap thrower. I put this under my Wheelybird 2.0 and it works great. Keeps you from getting bored shooting the birds in the same place all the time. I went together fairly well, not to hard to do....just make sure you follow the instructions and look carefully at the drawing for bolt and nut placements. You can also limit some of the right left or up and down movement of this unit, should you choose to do so, by simply disconnecting one of the arms or use the switch to shut it off all together and just use the thrower without it. It puts a lot of the fun back in shooting.

Bought this wobbler a while ago now, put it under my Wheelybird (40909) . If you'd like to add some challenge to your clay game, you cant go worng with this kit! Quick, easy install and works fantastic. 5 stars!!

This thing is simply awsome. Great product, quality construction. Works great and COMPLETELY changes the game. 10 times more fun. My friend called me twice in the same day to tell how much fun it was. Combine that with the Champion cly thrower and you will never...

I had fun with my machine before with a few adjustable heights but it got predictable. So I got this and mounted it. Now it works in a figure 8 pattern and throws them completely random. I think these products need to be sold together.
