Doesn't work on 2016 Indian Chieftain.
Doesn't work on 2016 Indian Chieftain. I tried the stock number of shims, which is 1 - didn't work. I tried no shims, 2 shims, 3 shims and the speedometer still didn't work. Unless there's a special trick to installing it (and I don't think there is) do not buy this if you have a 2016 Indian Chieftain.

Fixed my speedometer 2016 Roadmaster
I found out through a little research that the rear ABS sensor is tied to the speedometer. This fixed the problem. Also found the front ABS sensor controls the odometer….strange, but true

This sensor did not work on my Indian Motorcycle
XYZIL speed sensor was not compatible with my Indian Chief Vintage motorcycle. Indian mechanic diagnosed and verified that the sensor was not communicating with my VCM. I purchased an Indian brand speed sensor, installed it myself and it worked as specified.
