Manufacture's care guidelines didn't work (damp wipe) and you can't toss this wonderful - and expensive! - slipper into the wash or dishwasher. I did manage to get mine clean & dry & oder free free with Dawn dishwashing liquid, clean damp cloth, kitchen brush, paper towels and a hand vac. Here's a picture of mine with 1 clean and 1 before cleaning. Happy to share details of process if anyone is interested. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buy them for comfort, adjust for fit and put up with colors *by L***O on January 27, 2017* I am tempted to give 5 stars because these are the most comfortable slippers I have ever worn and this is my second pair. But I had to take off one star because they are too wide and don't come in narrow. I have to take them to a shoe repairer to see the flap closed. When I pull it far enough to stay on my foot, there is not enough Velcro touching to keep it secure. Also, I don't like any of the colors. It comes in black(ugh), and light pink and blue, either of which are too pale, they would immediately show dirt and stains. So this is my second of the animal prints, which I don't like, but anyway because my plantar fasciitis does not hurt when I wear them! I would buy other Vionic shoes if they were attractive, so I suggest they hire someone to design shoes that keep the comfort and are also nice-looking. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Soft, supportive slipper *by E***R on January 1, 2011* I almost haven't taken these off my feet since they got here a few days ago. I've got plantar fascitis and very pronated feet, and they've been getting worse since we moved to a house with all wood and tile floors. These slippers haven't instantly gotten rid of my pain, but they're definitely helping. I keep them next to my bed, and put them on before I stand up in the morning and now the pain is tolerable. I'm hoping my feet will start improving now that they're properly aligned.The slippers also have a flexible plastic bottom so I can wear them outside to check the mail. I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm not a huge fan of the styling. I kind of feel like I'm wearing my grandma's house shoes. It's worth it, but I would have liked something a little cuter.**Edit: 3 months later and I'm changing my rating to 5 stars. I don't care what they look like. I want to wear them all the time they feel so good. Great slippers.**Edit: It's 4 years later and I still have these. They're pretty worn out, but still structurally sound. I don't wear them much any more because... my plantar fasciitis is gone! They were a lifesaver in making it so I could get around my house when the pain was at its worst. There were days I thought I'd end up with a walker or a wheelchair, but I'm better now. Tip - If you frequently sit in a recliner with your feet hanging off the edge or toes pointed - think about changing the way you sit.
