For reference, my 15th month old daughter is 20 lbs., a little more than 26 inches. She normally wears a 6-9 month, and I ordered a 18-24 months. Although the sizing is off, it is one of the most beautiful dress. It has a sort of waffle square material; it seems to be a cross between linen and cotton- did not wrinkle. Button in the back was difficult to put through the loop due to the size, but so worth it still!
