A former staff member on Classic & Sports Car and Motor Sport, he has  contributed to more than 50 motoring titles, including Octane, Classic Cars, Car, Autosport, RACER and Motorsport News, while also writing for several websites and newspapers, such as The Guardian. Richard has authored books on subjects as diverse as the rise of the British specialist sports car movement, legendary Ferrari racing cars and Italian design classics. Richard lives in London, where he nurses his addiction to old Alfa Romeos.Briton Derek Bell is one of motorsport’s best-known and best-loved ambassadors. As a sports car racer at the highest level, his record is one of the most accomplished of all time. Derek first raced for Porsche in 1971 as part of the famous JWA factory team, first won Le Mans in 1975 with Mirage, then won Le Mans four more times with Porsche between 1981 and 1987.
