I wanted a glove that would protect my hands and still allow me to have full mobility in my fingers. I use these for daily riding, trimming my horses hooves and working around the barn. Hands are kept warm but not too hot in the summer. I went with the medium and they fit perfect, no extra space at the fingertip to get in the way. They've held up against my hoof knives and rasps.
