If your child is very active on the playground, these are a better choice than standard canvas shoes. Durability & Build: The synthetic upper is incredibly tough. It doesn't scuff easily, and unlike leather, it doesn't crack even after months of running and jumping. The sole is well-bonded to the upper, so there’s no risk of the front "opening up" after a few football games. Low Maintenance: This is a huge plus for busy parents. Because they are PVC/Synthetic, they don't require daily polishing. A quick wipe with a damp cloth (or a bit of shoe cream) makes them look brand new in seconds. They are also quite water-resistant for light rain. Fit & Comfort: The Velcro straps (SCHV model) are high-quality. They stay strong even after hundreds of uses, making it easy for kids to put them on independently. The inner lining is padded enough to prevent shoe-bites. Grip: The "Gola" sole has a deep tread pattern. It provides excellent traction on tiled school floors and dusty playgrounds, preventing slips. Final Verdict: These are "workhorse" shoes. They might be slightly heavier than thin canvas shoes, but they last twice as long. Excellent value for money for a full academic year.
