I only bought the ladder as I bought the shelf elsewhere assembled. I recommend contacting amazon or the seller directly to confirm how it's shipped. thanks. **Q: is the mounting hardware included with the item? Or is it strictly ladder only?** A: No mounting hardware needed for this item. It simply hooks onto the bookshelf with hooks at the top. **Q: its doesnt say or show that it has wheels so it doesnt damage the floor and make for easy gliding. Does this ladder come equipped with wheels?** A: There are no wheels for the bottom. It also just has hooks at the top. It doesn't really slide.
