Definitely need to have a newer iPhone, didn’t work well with my old iPhone XR where CarPlay would regularly crash, but works great with my iPhone 17 Pro. Simple setup, with two options for the base, one more permanent and the other an adhesive suction set up. Connection takes about 5-10 seconds after start up. I do experience a glitch where the dash cam display is all that will show and is frozen, but unplugging the power supply and plugging it back in fixes it every time. Dash cam picture quality is great! I haven’t spent enough time to figure out how to get the video off the dash cam using the phone app associated with the camera system, but it also has an SD card slot so you don’t technically need the app. Screen size is perfect for me.
