Are the pedals double sided to use clip in shoes?

No, the SF-B1805 does not have clip in pedals, but it is compatible. However, you must ensure the thread size of the clip in pedal you wish to attach into the crank arm, has a 9/16-inch thread size. If they have a smaller size (1/2 inch) then you can purchase adapters to convert from 1/2 to 9/16 and be able to use the clip in pedal. The most common size for SPD pedals is 9/16-inch thread.

What is the difference between this bike (1805) and the 1714 that is slightly more expensive?

The 1714 has a more robust frame and overall is a much heavier duty bike.

I see that this bik has a larger q-factor than the sunny health & fitness sf-b1714. has anyone ridden both? is this one less comfortable?

According to the Sunny website, the SF - B1714 has a 216 mm q factor and SF-B1805 has 182mm...

Is there a way to get a readout of how many turns of resistance have been dialed in? Ideally accessory dialed into magnetic resistance w/watts.

There is a FB page with Sunny/Peloton riders. On that there is a link that to an Etsy product that measures turns of the resistance as it would be with the Peloton app.
