Formaldehyde Removal Solution MKeco 300

I bought an upholstered bed for my child a few weeks ago, and it came with a terrible chemical smell that did not seem to fade over time. Then I got the MKeco Formaldehyde Removal Solution and much to my surprise it worked after the 1st application!! I also got bamboo charcoal packaged in 4 small bags, and between the MKeco solution and these, there has been no odor of any kind in his room. My only objection to this product is steep price ($28 for a 500ml bottle??), but it definitely works.

What's in this stuff besides water? I don't know but I now know you can't spray away Formaldehyde. Save your money please. Also, the bottler is VERY small... 6 ounces! YES 6oz. Look at the instructions and they tell you to use it once weekly! Clearly you don't have enough to use it that often so it is an attempt for you to keep buying more "to see" if to works. Don't fall for it... Run away now.

We had a formaldehyde problem when we moved into our new house. This product along with Dr. Silver (also sold on Amazon) helped us improve the air quality. We also opened the windows and have diffused essential oils.This product was noticeably effective within two hours.The bottle is not large and seemed enough for an average (100 sq ft) bedroom, so we returned and purchased the larger refill bottles.

I purchased some bunk beds at a pretty good price, but discovered at home that it may have been due to how intense the smell of formaldehyde would be when unboxed. I didn't want to take the thing back because of heavy it all was, so I searched and found this product. Despite being heavily varnished wood, spraying this seemed to neutralize the odor immediately. I got about 3 or 4 rounds out of this bottle and think it reduced the amount of time it took to kill the smell.

I bought this for formaldehyde removal, in fact it does nothing. I couldn’t find any difference before and after spraying this product on my new furnitures. Very disappointed. It’s very expensive and it runs out so fast.

This thing is amazing!!! Unlike most products it actually worked as described. I verified its efficacy with a VOC meter so this wasn’t a subjective interpretation of the results. I ran the meter, took a baseline, sprayed the solution and the total VOC and Formaldehyde count dropped almost instantly.

Not sure how can you buy a product and expect it will solve problem once for all. Applied to my new painted study room. Before and after has same reading - 0.210-0.230 from my VOC meter. Only smells good for couple of hours. The next day, smell the same —— VOC -0.229. I could not return it since I used it all. Wasted my money and time.

Overall it’s fine. Didn’t remove scent completely. And first bottle came used.
