MARTINI Riserva Speciale Ambrato Vermouth Aperitivo, 18% ABV, 75cl / 750ml, White Vermouth Infused with Unique Botanicals

This is a very different vermouth from the usual Martini Bianco, and while I don't need it very often, it is a distinctly superior offering. It's something you might well sit and sip on its own, which I wouldn't with most vermouths. You can taste where the extra money you're paying was spent.

I discovered this in a recipe from a well-known Birmingham cocktail bar where it is used with Luxardo bitters bianco to make an awesome white Negroni. I've been buying both since then and experimenting with different artisan gins. Haven't yet managed to make the little pearls that the cocktail bar serves with it.

Great taste and good to drink with ice and refreshing

Love this, it smells and tastes like Christmas, it's sweet & rich but so smooth. Keep it in the fridge, you won't be disappointed.

This is like a way more complex and interesting version of Martini bianco vermouth. It's closer to something like Lillet but with that vermouth's original formula element of bitterness re-introduced. It's quite citrusy and you can taste the oak ageing too. A premium tasting vermouth for sure.

I bought this because I like the regular Martini. This however is totally different and not to my liking. There is something strange about the finish, it makes my tongue slightly numb. I like my Vermouth on the rocks and I wouldn't reccomend it like that.
