How big are the wheels?

The wheels are about 4" in diameter. However, I have not had any problems moving plywood or MDF with this dolly. It has certainly saved my back on a number of occasions. I have seen others that are larger, probably with bigger wheels, but they were also much more expensive. For the amount of time I need this help, this was a great value.

How deep is the widest slot?

The slot is about 2" deep at its highest point. I have never hade a piece of plywood slip off by jumping over the edge of the slot.

Is 1.25” the maximum width between the “shoulders” of the cradle?

Yes, 1.25" is the maximum you can insert between the cradle!

I frequently use 3/4 x 49" x 97" particle boards. They weigh 114.64 lbs (52kg) each. I have no helpers. Is this offered in a 2 pack?

This item comes in a single pack. You need only one per sheet goods. If you had two per sheet you would not be able to turn while moving the sheet. With one dolly you would place it in the middle of the sheet along the long edge. The sheet has to be moved with the short side up.
