I've had the same one for years now and have had no issues with it whatsoever; this is a number one seller for a reason. As someone who not only needs that extra space but for it to also be portable and mobile, as well as durable and with fast speeds, this is truly a staple in the market. Even though it's been several years since it started selling, it remains a top seller due to it's sheer quality and reasonably affordable pricepoint. And when I say it's durable, I mean I've bumped, thudded, dropped, accidentally unplugged without safely ejecting, and it still has had no issues, no file corruption, no failures. As far as heat levels go, I have felt some heat coming from it during extended/intensive sometimes use but nothing that the built in cooling hasn't been able to handle. It's very easy to use, simple software setup, quiet as a mouse and has a simple design that doesn't really draw any unnecessary attention to the device itself should you care about it being private or unnoticed.

It's small, compact and easy to transport. Works well and doesn't require any installation. Upload and download speeds are great.Would get 5 stars but it is not optimized for Xbox Series S so not all games can be played directly from the hard drive. Games can still be stored but need to be transferred over to the device's internal storage to be playable.
