I’ve only used this product once. I saturated my roots and the rest of my hair with it, massaged it into my scalp for a few minutes, put my hair up, and let it sit for a couple hours. When I washed my hair, I shampooed twice, as usual, and used conditioner (from the middle of my hair to the ends) and let it sit for a few minutes, as usual. I brushed my hair when I got out of the shower and let it air dry. When I tell you that my hair is the softest it has ever been, that is not an exaggeration! My hair is silky soft and shiny, but not oily or greasy at all! There’s a huge difference because my hair usually feels dry from the middle to the ends of my hair, but gets oily near my roots after a day or two. I’m on day two and my hair still feels like it was just freshly washed. My hair is seriously the softest, shiniest, and the most flow-y it has been in years. Seriously, my hair strands normally stick to each other and cause frizz, but my hair strands are just gliding over one another without resistance or friction. I’ve been struggling with hair loss recently, so I’m excited to see how well it works for promoting hair growth after using it for a while. I just knew I needed to leave a review because of the big difference I noticed in my hair after just ONE use.

Smells so good! Natural, herbal, unisex. A dropper full of BurBur Growing Season hair and beard oil goes a long way. I give my beautiful bottle a little shake and put a dropper full of the oil in the palms of my hands, rubbing them together to coat them both. I then work it into my scalp, especially the spots that are itchy, have more thinning etc… It feels amazing when I get done massaging my scalp and roots. Almost immediately the oil starts to soothe my itchy scalp. I run another dropper full of the product through the lengths of my hair mainly focusing on coating my ends. Pull all my hair up into a clip and set my timer for at least 30 minutes going about whatever I need to do in the mean time. When the timer goes off I shampoo and condition my hair as usual. I’ve decided to use the BurBur oil a couple of times a week and typically only have 3-4 wash days a week as it is. I’m just starting this BurBur oil routine and may increase/decrease frequency of use if I see there is a need. What I’ve noticed so far about BurBurs Growing Season hair and beard oil is that a little goes a long way, the fact that you apply to your dry hair before shampooing lets you see exactly where you need to focus the product to get the best results…split ends in all their annoying glory- I’m talking bout you…,it likes my thick hair with it’s fine strand 3A curls and waves and they like it…it lessens frizz and the Lord knows what I been working with on top of my head my whole entire life so we will take it and smile like all get out while we do😁. It noticeably softens and smoothes my hair after every use giving it some nice shine and movement. It helps with oil production and clarifying my scalp and hair which seems weird as it’s an oil being used on roots that are sometimes overly oily +hair that feels like it still has some buildup even after washing and rinsing. Add to this the fact my scalp often feels tight and itchy which the Growth Season hair oil helps to soothe. I’ve noticed that there doesn’t seem to be as much breakage which has been a real problem after years and years of chemical damage to my hair (hair dye). What it’s too soon to tell about using this product….if thinning and fall out has seen significant change, if my hair is growing longer and thicker, basically any of the long term effects as I’m just getting into my first bottle of Growing Season. I like the results I have seen so far and am inspired to keep using this product until all 3 of the bottles are empty, make that 2 because my boyfriend has claimed one of the bottles for himself 🙄. He loves the BurBur too after raving about how good my hair smelled and now he uses it after working his scalp over with his dermaplane roller. His wave pattern looks better than ever but don’t tell him I said it because he’ll get a head like a Macys Thanksgiving day parade float….🎈

It is expensive but you get 3 bottles svs they will last you a long time. I haven't used it long enough to test fit hair growth, but I've noticed that my hair feels softer after I started using it. Even though I have sensitive skin it has not caused any adverse reaction to date. Will update later once I've used it for a de months.

I’ve never used a hair oil before shampooing so this was a new experience for me. I have almost waist length, baby fine, straight, color treated hair. I have to be really careful with hair oils and leave in conditioners because they can weigh down my already volume challenged hair. The directions on the box are so small I could barely read them with my reading glasses on. They don’t mention how much of the product to use, and since I have lots of hair and it goes on dry hair, I ended up using 4 or 5 droppers full, with some massaged into my scalp but the majority applied from the nape of my neck through my ends. I left it on for a couple of hours then shampooed & conditioned. You know that “after” photo in the product info with the long, straight glossy hair? That’s how my hair looked after drying it. Andmy hair is remarkably full of volume rather than flat and oily looking. Performance-wise this product is a winner. I was somewhat shocked by the price until I realized one order is 3 bottles of this oil. Since I only wash my hair 1-2x per week it’s gonna last me a very long time. My only complaint is the scent. I don’t hate it, it’s just not my favorite and once my hair was washed/conditioned/dried I couldn’t smell it on my hair. Overall a great product. Time will tell if it actually boosts hair growth but my hair is gonna look fantastic in the meantime.

I haven’t noticed any hair growth yet, but my scalp feels a lot better and my hair is smoother than before. The smell of this oil is also nice and I didn’t notice any irritation while using it. It also controls frizziness, which is great for my frizzy hair.

I just started using this hair growth oil so I don't yet know if it actually grows hair. What I do know is that the ingredients are vegan & natural. Some of the ingredients include burdock oil, nettle oil & bakuchiol. After using the oil a few times, I've noticed my hair is softer & shinier than usual. I'm pretty excited about this product & will update at a later date.

You get three bottle of this pre shampoo treatment when you order. There’s alot of natural & hair healthy ingredients in this formula. I haven’t used it long enough to say that it helps with hair growth but it does make my hair super soft. It also adds shine & smoothness! I like it so far!

This hair and repair oil has a nice and subtle aroma that is nice. It feels thin and not sticky. I can't say if it works as that will take time to verify, but so far so good.
