HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop, 15.6" FHD 144Hz Display Portatil Gamer, Core i7-13620H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060,32GB RAM 2TB SSD, Lifetime Windows 11 Pro and Office Pro with Sound-Controlled Light

This machine meet my specific functional requirements which are (1) Intel I7 processor, (2) 2TB of mass storage, and (3) 32 GB of RAM, (4) RJ-45 port (an absolute must), and (5) back lit keyboard. Having a potent dedicated graphics card with its own RAM is a nice feature to have to reduce the workload of the main processor. These features are are hard to find in common for the processing for the demands of my applications. Also, it is nice to have onboard applications included with the purchase is the Windows 11 Pro and Office Pro (2019) although for the latter application I currently use open source software. There are other impressive features that I find fills up voids in functionality on other machines. Again, I did not buy this laptop for gaming but I from what I gather should I venture into that activity I got a laptop that can handle many games out there without a sweat. My only complaint has to do with aesthetics. I do like the dark blue interior and exterior color and but I would prefer the more common silver exterior color with the etched silver "HP" logo and though the blue exterior is fine, I would greatly prefer the there be the silver "HP" logo in its place the silver "V" logo. I am glad to so there are not silver color keys on the keyboard which are hard to read the symbols when lit even in limited lighting. I feel that I do not think I could find an HP laptop that meets my need like this machine unless I special order it directly from HP. My only complaint is something that no outlet can do anything about and that I would have preferred to order it with Windows 10 operating system installed provided that he OS would be still supported supported by Microsoft.

HP Victus review: I bought 2 of these in the same purchase after I had just returned to ASUS gaming laptops. One for my business to run demanding CAD and rendering software and the other for my son in college engineering to run similar software. I initially selected this super gaming ASUS model due to a good history with ASUS laptops and the specs. I opened the first one and could not get it to boot up. It tried to go into Bios mode start up but that failed as well. Then nothing but black screen. I packed it up and returned both. I then purchased (2) HP "normal" gaming Victus laptops with good specs and they both started up perfectly and have been performing great with the CAD software. I say normal as the HP charging block / transformer is still large but nothing like the ASUS BRICK size block. The ASUS also recommends their cooling fan stand... At start up, the ASUS feels / operated like a mini power station with insane amount of heat release. The HP has decent battery life( 5-6 hrs) while other ASUS reviews say it has 2 hrs batt life.....The ASUS is a heavy, hot, power station. The HP Victus is a powerful laptop that can do it all and still be a portable business laptop doing all the normal business MS Office things and be a hi end performer with serious gaming or rendering software. You can use it on long flights with battery life. BUT it is larger and heavier than the small business laptops or chromebooks. If you need power.....the HP Victus is excellent and reliable

Title says it all. Plenty of disk space, great graphics, and no blue screens (I'm looking at you Acer).

I’d return this if I could. After a few months it starts to get slower than you’d expect. This computer gets extremely hot at times too, nearly 200°. The fans are pretty loud and are constantly going, I don’t think I’ve ever had a time when they were quiet. The laptop is heavy, but I will say the product is durable.

Everything about this laptop is quality. Very quick to boot, load, operate. Lovely screen quality. I use it with a mouse. I play online games with no lag loading or play issues. I would buy it again.

I got this on sale for a really good price.I haven't given it to my son.Nets for christmas, but I will update as soon as I do!
