This AC Unit Totally worth it !
The window AC I recently got is a solid product overall. It’s energy-efficient, provides excellent cooling, and operates with minimal noise, which I really appreciate. nd easy nd quick to install On top of that, it has a clean, modern design that fits well with the room. I’d definitely recommend it!

Good U shaped window A/C unit
Great A/C unit that we needed to cool off apartment. Very heavy, but with two adults it is fairly easy to set up. Works great and performed as described. Good airflow and filtration of outside air.

SOUNDS LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN!!
BEWARE....if you're looking for a quiet, cool ac...this isn't it . I bought 2 of the Midea; when the inverter or whatever it is comes on, it rumbles like a freight train. Apparently, this is an issue with this ac...I paid someone to install it as I am in my 70s so I guess I'm stuck with it...it cools ok but that freight train noise just rumbles thru the house. At least it only lasts a short time but I will not recommend buying this unit .

Nothing's Perfect - Not Even an Inverter A/C
This replaced an old 10,000 BTU unit. This 12,000 BTU A/C does a much better job of cooling the room. Is it quiet? Well, yes quieter than the conventional unit it replaced. BUT - I guess the inverter compressor is the source of a low "propellor" noise that comes on whenever the unit needs to change temperature. Extra credit - my overall electric bill is 20% lower since installing this unit and it runs 24/7!

Happy with this purchase. Unit blows icicles! Very powerful at 12,000 BTU. Easy to connect to WiFi. No issues!

Took too long to get
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this product because they are reliable and it’s a smart WiFi connected air conditioner. I also picked it because it indicated that it was in stock. But it took me a month to get it. Modes is a very reliable brand but buying it from this vendor was a problem because despite saying that they had them in stock it took too long to get it.
