Does this need to be rinsed first as usual with Quinoa?

The directions don’t say to rinse first. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try it as the box was opened when delivered. I threw it away.

why so pricey? Is only a couple of bucks in the store?

Many Amazon sellers are small businesses who don't have the buying power of a big box store. We ship products to the Amazon warehouses to make it handy for customers. Plus, if you are a Prime member, you have the convenience of quick delivery right to your door. We know everyone has a choice as to where they purchase products and understand that customers choose the method that works best for them. Whatever your decision, we hope you enjoy the product.

Is there a reason this is triple the cost of what it's sold for in small local grocery stores? This isn't about big-box purchasing power.

I myself like minute rice cooks faster n also more tender

Is this Organic Quinoa ? Where is it coming from ?

Hello, Box just says non-gmo, gluten free. Doesn't say organic or natural. Ingredients are black, red, white quinoa, nothing else listed. Company is based in Florida. Quinoa is packed in Texas. No info on origin of quinoa. Hope this helps. 1409clay
