Great for an autistic busgoer. Amazing noise isolation and sound quality
I realise I'm very outside the target audience as an autistic person. I got these purely for the noise isolation (of which is excellent) because I'm sick of public transport noise but still want to listen to music.I can barely hear myself talk. Other people, the announcements and the bus engine are reduced to a rumble or vague noise in the background. The sound quality is excellent, I'm discovering new depths to my songs. I personally prefer my logitech G pro X as the sound feels just a bit "mushy" on the Sennheisers (and I'm just used to the Logitechs). Could be because I'm usually audio streaming though. The headphones themselves are light but dragged down (sometimes literally) by quite a heavy and thick wire, especially for moving around. I guess it's fine if you're just using these in a studio. Will take some getting used to. Would literally kill for a Bluetooth version of these headphones. They're comfortable and don't squeeze your head too tight. Overall no complaints.Only thing, because of the volume these can go I'd recommend a volume limiter if you're using these on a smartphone.

serious headphones
Their closed-back design and snug fit deliver high passive noise attenuation. The sound profile is neutral and balanced with clear mids and highs, ideal for monitoring, mixing, and critical listening where you want to hear the music as it really is.These earphones are well designed with folding and rotating ear cuffs the headband is sturdy. The ear padding is really soft.consThe clamping force is quite strong so extended wear can give some discomfort, especially if you have a larger head.Due to their size might not be the best option for on the go use.over all I think they are good value for money but they are a more serious headphone maybe designed for more professional use .

Competent Headphones but sound a little lifeless.
I ordered these headphones to try to improve to the lower base response of my current favorites which that I have used for around 5 years. These are the Sony MDR-7506 and were around £85 when I purchased them, they produce and exceptionally detailed soundscape which sounds open and airy and the vocals are exceptional (you can understand why these are reputed to be to goto general studio headphones for around 20 years). The Bass is detailed and you can discriminate every note. However the very low bass is lacking a little depth, and the very high end is emphasised. For this is the reason I decided to look for new headphones that could improve on these areas and was prepared to increase my budget, if needed, to around £200. I eventually tried out Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, Yamaha MT5's, Adam H200, BeyerDynamics DT770 Pro 80 Ohm & DT770 Pro X 32 Ohm, before choosing the AKG K371 - see my reviews of each of these others, for my evaluation of their performance..As to the HD 280 Pro - I found their overall design to be good and easy to use. the padding supported the weight well and they were comfortable on your ears. I'm not a great fan of the fully coiled cable as although it keeps the cable compact whilst allowing a good range of extension, when standng the coils hang clear of the floor and so you feel the whole weight hanging from the headphones. The materials used were typical of consumer headphones and seem well made. You would not expect exotic materials at this price. However for me the whole purchase depended on the sonic performance - could they improve on the Sony MDR-7506, in the lower bass depth and high frequencies, without sacrificing the parts that were excellent. In a word - No! The frequency response appeared reasonably detailed and flat, but the sound was a little lifeless. These phones may be useful when mixing at home but for listening to retail music they do not excite. The Sony revealed more detail, everywhere, and somehow added sparkle to the soundscape.

High quality on a 'budget'
For the average person, this price tag for a set of plastic headphones may seem crazy. For anyone who has owned any Sennheiser product in the past, or even this particular set of headphones, you'll know that for the quality of this set, the price really is amazing. To get any better you'd be spending anywhere above £400, and headphones in the below £50 range will pale miserably in comparison. Build quality is excellent, my last pair lasted 7 years before they finally succumbed to damage (which was completely my fault). Audio quality is fantastic, though it does lack the brain shaking bass that some people will be looking for in particular. If you're looking for a new set of headphones to thoroughly enjoy your music collection, for mixing, or even for gaming, these will not disappoint. One word of warning, the cables that feed into the left ear piece are completely and easily replaceable, as are the pads on the top and ears, but the cable that feeds audio to the right ear is not. This will be the most common point of failure, but it takes considerable effort to damage it. Both earpieces have a large degree of rotation, and extend out to suit your head size. If you have this length set at the maximum and move that right earpiece as far as it will go, both left and right, you will run the risk of damaging this wire far more quickly than usual wear and tear. If you have to fold them up tight for travel, remember not to do so when the ears are at their fully extended distance. If you take care of this headset it will last for a very long time, well past the 2 year warranty. They endured 7 years of car rides, house moves, being dropped, tossed and twisted, but be sure to take care for that right earpiece. Keep that in mind and this set will keep you going through an apocalypse.(This review is for the mk1 version, the mk2 version as I understand it is almost identical besides the difference in foam headpiece. If anything else has changed, so will this review.)

Great sound quality, solid build and still one of my favourites
Love these headphones. Bought some back in 2003, used to DJ a lot, they then unfortunately broke and the wiring stopped working properly. No fault of the headphones though. So, I thought it was about time I replaced them. This newer version has a very slightly different design in the headband but everything else is just the same. They fit perfectly thanks to the adjustable headband, and despite looking bulky are quite light. The sound quality is just as I remember it, the bass isn’t shy and they are closed backs, letting you drown the rest of the world out out with the sounds of Metallica, or whatever takes your fancy.I think the price is about right, they are very good quality in sound and build. The only niggle is the curly cable when using them for guitar practice, very difficult to manage, so I’d recommend sticking with just the music box, where you can stay still and not have to find ways to untangle yourself from your guitar and your own head.

Comfortable, accurate with great sound insulation.
Great, accurate, flat sound. I use them for mixing sound, mastering and video-editing. They are comfortable and snug but also solid and weighty. The sturdy build and the closed back means that they exclude external sounds without need for noise-cancelling. I can be working comfortably next to someone taking a meeting. Sometimes I just wear them with nothing playing when I need to concentrate! They look great as well.

Good Headphones 🎧
Good closed back headphones great sound isolating and sound quality you can buy better but not at this price would recommend only complaint is that the cable is not removable but that's to be expected for this type of monitoring headphones

Highly Recommend.
Excellent for home and club DJ use. Well made, comfortable and durable. Nice flat bass. There are more expensive options, but why overpay when these do the job just fine.

Kablo ağır
Her şey güzel ama kablosu sarmal olduğundan ağırlık yapıyor.

Good headphones for me.
SOUND:I wanted something of a neutral sounding headphones. And I say that if you're more of a bass lover this might not meet your expectation butThis headphones are very good neutral sounding headphones means every frequency is well balanced. Lows-Mids-TrebleHigh end frequencies are little less compare to other headphones but the sub bass and bass quality is very good.I'm not a fan of more high end frequencies but to some users it might sound less energetic on that area compare to lets say beyerdynamic or audiotechnica headphones.Personally I like high end of this headphones because of the balance and not harsh highs , I can listen to it for a long time. And noise cancellation is also good.COMFORT LEVEL:At first these headphones might be little tight on your head and is the reason for noise cancellation also. The cups are comfortable and will cover your whole ears. The headphones will get comfortable to your liking after some time you can adjust the size with slider above the cups.BUILD QUALITY:At this price range I think the build quality is goodHeadphones are foldable and light. But the wire is non detachable and cable is heavy so I think I have to take care of it and not be reckless about it.So I don't think these headphones are made for walking and listening typeThese are made for sitting in one place and listening type.FINAL VERDICT:I make music and I heard that most of mixing engineers use this to mix their beats so I ordered itI like this headphones because it met my expectations. At first you might not be able to grasp the sound stage of these headphones because you might not used to these type of headphones.Sound quality is good and almost neutral.I am not using these as my headphones for gym and I am not taking it with me when I go outside. It's not like you can't take it outside , the headphones are light weighted but cable is heavy and non detachable that's why. After using it sometime and grasping the sound stage, I can listen in this headphones for hours and pick little details in the songs too.So read this and based on your application you can choose whether to take it or not.Note: I saw the pictures online of this headphones and I found that that were two models. One is old one where on back of the cup of headphones, Sennheiser hd 280 pro 64 ohms is writtenSecond is new model where only HD 280 PRO is writtenSo don't get confused with the images shown when you receive these headphones and don't find Sennheiser 64 ohms written on back of the cups.Cheers!

Incredible noise reduction
I have misophonia and was looking for a solution when I'm travelling around the city as people on their cellphones was driving me crazy. I tried earplugs but I found the noise reduction inadequate. I wear earmuffs when I'm at home and they've proven very helpful but they would look ridiculous being worn in public. I ordered the Sennheiser HD 280 and received them last week. I am very impressed how well they block noise! Now the 32 DB noise reduction rating they claim is absurd. Yes, they do reduce noise but they come nowhere remotely close to my earmuffs which have a 31 rating. But when I have music playing they're incredible! I can't hear anything. Can't hear people on their phones or even the sound of the subway rumbling. They block everything! Very pleased with my purchase and they have provided much needed relief. Highly recommended!
