Solid converter, this is my third one, they last about 5 years.
The product works perfectly. They last about 5 years, then the emitter light burns out. I have used this product in an installation connecting two server rooms about 200 feet apart continuously for 15 years, you just need to realize they eventually burn out. Until that happens, you get rock solid gigabit ethernet over fiber, immune to surges including lightning, on your data link. They are so cheap and work so well I can't complain, just keep a replacement on hand.

Right choice for Gigabit Switch/SFP for MM 62.5/125 and 50/125
I bought two of this for my client as a part of new OFC installation. Since day 1 it performs well as it suppose to. I got this on a discounted price compared to the competitors.

Used for isolation
I bought this to electrically isolate my internet connection. My router and printer recently got destroyed in a lightning storm. We have a UPS for electric, but It appears that lightning struck the cable line and fried the Ethernet ports on the devices (the cable modem was somehow unharmed). I was considering surge protectors for cable lines, but saw mixed reviews. There is no way a power surge from the cable line can go over fiber. Worst case is the modem and cheap converter might get blown out. So far it's working great. I have a 150mps internet connection and I'm getting about 170 down, so it's definitely operating over 100mpbs.
