It Just Works
I bought it as a travel/beater rod but ended up using it all the time. I urban fish Portland Or. I have been using it to bicycle to spots, and fish off my paddle board and docks. I have been catching good size bass, trout and cats, no problem. I did not use a spincast since I was a young, so I feel like a kid again rockin the spincast, super nostalgic. Not the smoothest reel for finnesse fishing but if you are fishing bobber, knocker or carolina rigs you are good to go. Spinners and jigs totally fine just not super smooth. You can definitely launch some far accurate casts. The rod is rock soild and is just acts/reacts to every situation perfectly. Great for beginners to experienced anglers. Good simple go too for preppers as well.

Missing half my rod
So I paid 70 dollars and only got half of the Pole. Its missing the top half of my rod. Its a nice rod just like what am I supposed to do with half my rod.

Have to return because the top portion of the rod is missing. Very disappointed as it was supposed to be a Christmas gift.

Upgrade the reel
The fishing rod is excellent, however the reel is lacking I've purchased these rod combos for my boys but honestly the reel is super slow retrieve and lacks on power, I've upgraded reels and their great rods now

Pole was not sent complete, missing the top connecting piece
Was only sent the bottom part of the pole.. not the top connecting piece.
