I recently purchased the SYLVOX 43-inch Outdoor TV, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. I was a bit skeptical at first about purchasing such a very expensive television, due to the limited time spend watching TV. However, following the purchase, it turns out, this would be a very nice investment for my back porch. Unfortunately, a few weeks after the purchase, one of the (2) outdoor remotes suddenly stop working and appeared to be defective! I’m also aware (for various reasons) sometimes problems can occur after a purchase and the true value now becomes the seller's reputation to standing by their product. This was definitely the case with this purchase. My service rep Ian, was sympathetic, knowledgeable and very professional regarding my situation. After assessing the case of my defective remote, Ian Immediately emailed me to inform me I would soon receive a new remote! A few days later, true to his word, express mailed it with a follow-up call to confirm receipt! Thank you Ian and bravo for a great, time sensitive problem solving issue!

The television is extremely well crafted and has exceeded expectations for build quality. It has a great picture and the sound has been superb, even without a soundbar. I would happily have rated it a 5 star if the ability to add and subtract streaming app was part of its UI. While screenshare does allow me to cast from my phone, having this resource would push this television to the next level. Over all, I'm still very pleased with the product and will check their website in the future to see if there any firmware updates that give us more app versatility.

Even with the volume at 100 you could not hear anything from 4 feet or farther away from the tv. There was glare from every angle. Packed it up and returned it the day we received the tv.

Very bright and clear picture. Wish it came with more apps than just Netflex and Paramount and Prime but am using a Roku Ultra and works seamless and get most of the channels I need for outdoor viewing. Very nice picture quality. The only issue I had is that the Menu button does not work on the remote or side of TV set. I am able to accesss the setting when I first turn on the set but cannot access it once I am viewing. Sent email to customer service but never received a response. I did not send it back since I only used the settings when I first set-up the TV and don't really need to access it after that.

Was super excited to get this tv. it came broken but the seller immediately rectified it with ease so i was very impressed. The only issue with the tv would have to be the loudness and quality of the sound. you really have to turn the volume up almost all the way to hear the tv. I will definately have to invest in a sound bar for outside. Now just have to find one for outside that doesn't cost arm and a leg. HELP. but def a good tv.

This TV does not come with a stand or wall attachment. You will need to buy those separately. It has a fan to keep it cool which impacts sound a little. The fan is needed to keep the TV cool on a hot day and prolong its life. The picture quality and brightness are very good. It is best to get a sound bar if you do not intend to wire the TV into your sound system as the built in speakers produce sound that is a bit distorted with a (sometimes) rattle. Netflix and Prime and some other services are built in but if you want Apple TV, for example, you will need to stream from a firestick or the like. You can't download them but there is a streaming option built in. The after sales service could not have been better.

This was exactly what I was looking for outside by the hot tub. I used to just carry out a small 24 inch tv when there was a game or something I wanted to watch while I was sitting there and now there is no need to have to carry it back in every time. You will notice as soon as you pick up the package it is heavy duty. The surround of the TV is a very solid metal. I haven't had a chance to use it in much sunlight but it seems like it will be plenty bright to see even with a good sunlight as long as it is under and eve or somewhere slightly shaded. The specs on it are pretty great as far as being able to withstand most temperatures which is huge where I live as the winters get quite cold and the summers pretty hot. One of if not the biggest reason to buy this TV is that they stand by their product. I had an issue and customer service was prompt and amazing. They took care of my problem immediately and I could not have been more impressed. I would highly recommend Sylvox to anyone!

2 years mounted outside near a hot tub in Canada. Been through freezing and summer, -30 to +30. Good wifi connection. Good quality. Decent volume. Feels durable. Easy to mount. Very happy with it. I put a cover on when not in use

Enjoying watching sports outside

Very clear screen. Dont like the fact that you can’t download new apps such as Sportsnet….had to buy a for stick for it.

I'll make this fairly short and sweet. First, the good: The TV has a good bit of heft to it and the protective case feels quite solid, well constructed and is sealed well. I'm confident this would be well protected from the elements. I also liked the design and size of the rear compartment to access HDMI and other inputs. It looks like the connections are likewise well protected. Picture wise, it was clear as expected and had zero dead pixels. Next, the not so good: The specs claim 1000 nits brightness, but unfortunately my impression after doing a side by side comparison with my Sony X900H (about 450 to 500 nits max with SDR, 700 nits max for peak HDR) is that the Sylvox is only about on par with the Sony. The current Samsung 4K TV that I use outdoors (deck) is about 360 to 400 nits with SDR but I wanted something quite a bit brighter. Since my needs are for a very bright SDR image outdoors to watch baseball during the summer I wanted something that could truly approach 800 nits SDR minimum. Sadly this model isn't it. While the Sylvox is definitely brighter than your average SDR HDTV (and I think most people will be happy with the brightness if using under a covered deck) anyone who wants an ultra bright image may want to spend extra on the next model up (rated at 2000 nits, should be at least 1000). A couple of other things you need to be aware of is that this is not a "smart" TV. It isn't a really a negative per se since you can install a relatively inexpensive Fire TV 4K MAX in the rear compartment easily where it's also protected, and well supported. Lastly, I have a sneaking suspicion that the included remote is not water resistant. It feels cheap and plasticky, so don't get it wet. Better still, install a Fire TV 4K MAX and use that remote instead after you've done your basic TV picture calibrations / setup. Another nitpic is the screws that secure the rear compartment panel. They're tightened by finger but too smooth to get a good grip sometimes.
