HOMTOYOU Spray Mops for Floor Cleaning: Wet Mop with 3 Washable Pads

After years of trying to hack a wetjet in order to use my own cleaning solution, I finally found my dream mop so simple, easy to use and clean. It swivels into every nook. Love it. I’ve had no spray issues or anything. Ive had it for a year and it’s in great shape.

If you knew how many mops, vacuum/mop combos, etc I have tried out before finding this, you wouldn't believe it. We moved into a new house with both hardwood floors and LVT on the main floor, so I needed something that could gently but effectively tackle both. And the LVT in our kitchen (luxury vinyl tile) is mainly white, so it shows every little thing. Every fancy mop situation I tried felt like more trouble than it was worth for one reason or another. This, on the other hand, is so quick and easy to use. Sometimes simpler is just better, and this is one of those times. I just use a mix of about 25% white vinegar and 75% water in the attachable bottle, and then you can easily spray it on the ground right in front of where you need to mop with the pull of a trigger finger. So easy, lightweight (my 4 year old loves to help mop - score!) and is truly the most effective mop I've tried. Comes with washable fabric mop head covers, so I just toss mine in the wash when I'm done. Its equally easy to grab it from the laundry room for a quick spot or spill clean up, or takes me only about 10 minutes to mop my whole kitchen/dining room/family room area. Add about a 10 minutes vacuum session right before that, and I can have clean, spotless floors in about 20 minutes without hardly any elbow grease or breaking a sweat. If you're looking for a new mop, try this out first before spending hundreds on a "fancy" one that's more trouble than what you really need.

I've owned and used multiple mops during my life and this one is hands down my favorite. It's so quick and easy to use that I find myself almost looking forward to mopping (yes, kinda weird). It holds plenty of cleaning liquid to clean all my floors at once, doesn't leak, and has multiple pads for the mop so if one gets dirty I can quickly swap it out and keep going. It's nice to be able to wash one or two and still have one to use. It's also great to be able to just add a bit more water (by spraying) any spots on the floor that are extra dirty or sticky. So quick and easy. It's also very adjustable in size. If I remove one of the sections of the stick part, it's short enough for a child to use. (My kids love to use this mop because of the built in spray.) And it's cheaper than most if not all the spray mops marketed for kids. It does feel a little flimsy, but I've used it daily for over a month and so have my kids, and it's been holding up just fine. At this price point, if it needs replacing after a few years, I won't be mad at all. All that to say, I definitely recommend this mop! Buy it and make mopping an easier task!

I bought this over 2 years ago as a better option than Swiffer. I hate being hooked into that brand’s expensive products that only they make. I loved that this mop allows you to mix whatever cleaner you want into the container. The spray function works decently well. The mop pads are great—very effective at cleaning, stay attached during cleaning, and can easily be tossed in the laundry. My biggest gripe is that after 2 years, the seal of the bottle has now become stuck or something, so now when mopping, the cleaner leaks everywhere. Rather than just getting the fine mist, you also get cleaner pouring through the bottom which leaves the floor much more puddled than it would be if working correctly. I guess for the price, 2 years isn’t bad. It just hasn’t been used heavily in those years and I’d like to see something like this last much longer.

If you want something simple and easy to use, this mop is it! I like using whatever I want to use in the spray bottle and the pump action works great! It sprays out far and wide. I can spray as little or as much as I need and I really love how light weight it is! The pads. clean the floor. I have senior dogs that accidentally pee’s on the floor so I clean it up with paper towel’s then simply run over it with the mop. I usually get carried away and keep spraying and mopping because it’s so easy to clean the floors with it. I also didn’t want to spend alot! Comes with 2 cleaning pads. With that said, there’s not a lot to it. It’s made of aluminum and plastic. So it’s not a high end Quality mop. Looks and feels cheap. The point is it’s good for quick clean ups without spending a lot. The pump spray and the pads are it’s best feature.

We have linoleum and tiles in the house that get dirty quickly. Aside from our cats, there are also the occasional spills and whatnot that we have to clean up. I’ve tried several different mops but this is my first time using one with a spray. I wasn’t sure if it was what I needed but now that I have it, mopping has become a lot easier! It really speeds everything up. I followed the instructions and assembled it in a few minutes. Just a lot of snapping things together. Obviously the next thing I did was put it to the test. I poured a water and vinegar mix into the bottle it came with and used it to clean our laminate floors. The spray trigger at the top of the unit was easy to use and dispensed just the right amount of liquid. I like how it doesn’t require any batteries…no extra costs! Pros: This mop is a lot lighter than the mop I was using before- this makes it very easy to maneuver around the house. The mop head also moves in multiple directions, which is great for when I’m trying to get underneath beds and other furniture. The container is also a great size. The mouth is nice and wide which makes refilling easy. The fact that you can use whatever cleaner you want is great too- I hate being tied down to a certain product. I might add a few drops of essential oil next time, just to give it more of a fragrance. Cons: The pads wore out quicker than I thought. Two months in, I found myself having to buy refills because they no longer absorbed water that well. Instead of getting the ones that came with it however, I got the mop pads from turbo mops. They’re a little longer than the original ones but they work a lot better, in my opinion at least.

I will start with the BUT since that might be a deal breaker for you. The spray bottle for cleaning solution is SMALL so if you have lots of square footage to mop, you may have to refill before you've finished the job. My hardwood /linoleum floors cover above 850 s.f. so not a problem for me. Was happy w another mop at nearly dbl the price but very reluctant to pay $18 for just replacement bottle so chose this one instead. Not sure how long this new mop will last but all my previous ones, regardless of brand or price, broke/ malfunctioned in a year or less. Things I LOVE about new mop: 1) my floors feel/stay cleaner than ever before! (I walk barefooted indoors.) Must be the microfiber pads since using same cleaning for past 3 years; 2) spray mist is finer, fuller and at better angle for mopping. Other brands come out more as projected droplets; 3) mop shaft is shorter, more suitable to my height of 5'2"; 4) swivel mop base is slightly shorter than my other mop making it easier to swivel around furniture legs, behind bookcases, etc; 5) and, you know that little spray bottle I don't like, let's me get further under furniture and tight spaces because it's more streamlined. My first impression of mop was it's cheaply made, but then I had to remind myself I CHOSE the cheaper priced item and got 3 mop pads included! I mop daily so if $30-$45 mops peter out in 12 months, I'm ahead of the game with my new $18 version if it makes it to 9 months. Very happy with my new purchase.

Soy ama de casa, mi casa es grande y siempre estoy buscando productos que me faciliten la vida. Las copas para mi son lo más, me encantan. Esta que además tiene la posibilidad del agua me parecía buena opción pero debes tener en cuenta varias cosas; si tú suelo es de madera o tipo madera queda muy mal el acabado, a manchas. Si es de porcelanato no creo tampoco creo q quedé bien. A mí me sirve en suelo de loseta dura nada más. Y otra cosa ,para que de verdad quedé bien el piso tendrías q estar cambiando la sopa cada vez que cambies de cuarto, por lo que a mí no me compensa porque estás limpiando con lago sucio .. Y dicho esto no la recomiendo, en cambio si te recomiendo lass mopas grandes, pero sin mojar

The spray bottle started leaking within 10 days of use. And the Velcro tape on the mop started peeling off. Not good quality.
