For 100w, it's got chutzpah! But I think I'll just use it for simple items (hummus, chocolate milk) that only require short bursts of use. Good deal for me.

As long as I keep the motor running in short bursts only, alternating with mixing motion to continue the agitation, this works great for the purpose intended. I had a different brand I bought earlier, and when I ran that longer (mixing a 2-lb batch) I burned the motor right away (but then it had two buttons and was hard to hold). This was the second brand I tried and I kept in mind not to run longer than a few seconds at a time. So far I have made only 1-lb (oils) batches, and it has been doing a great job. The button is also easy to press and quite comfortable. I am getting a second unit as a back up just in case this one dies too.

This is a single piece stick blender that has good power and has worked well for my displaying. The only thing to be aware of, that I dislike about the product, is that the head, where the blade is small and hard for me to clean all the nooks and crannies. Again, that is in regards to soap making. Might work great for foods. It is a nice kitchen tool otherwise.

This is the third hand blender I have had in the last decade and it does a good job of pureeing (steamed veggies and soups). It is the FIRST one that is so messy though. I'm not sure why but it splatter's a lot. I have to make sure the head is always in the mixture I am blending. I have already ruined a sweatshirt by splattering hot soup on it. Good for the job at hand...just WEAR AN APRON!!!

Great product for the price

The head doesn't come off, so cleaning is a little more of a chore.Otherwise, the guts of this are standard for most of these up through twice the price.It works well for smoothies and light work.I've chopped a little ice with it, but it gets hot pretty quickly.

The seller was great, fast s/h and all the service you could offer. Highly recommended. This particular product was bought new. Compared to another brand I've previously owned, this blade is much smaller than the other. Not for soap or long use. This is good for smoothies and quick blasts, but it's going to have trouble with heavy use.

I have been using this blender for over two years. It still works great. My only gripe is that the blade is not detachable. I need to use a toothpick to clean it if I have been making something especially sticky.
