Coilhose Pneumatics BL02 Heavy Duty Mechanical Tool Balancer, 1 - 3.5 Pound Load Capacity

For our machine shop we have about 15 of these in use, and we've been buying and using them as they seem the sturdiest built balancers we can find with their all metal construction. And in fact the mechanism of the balancers seems very good. However we feel we're having to replace these much too often for broken cables. I'm not exactly sure the reason; we're only hanging light weight air guns from them. I've looked at broken units and the guide at the end of the housing is somewhat worn, but it doesn't appear to be to the point the cable should be abraded by it. I think they're just using cheap cable. We're going to try some other types.

These are great units. We use them on an assembly line to return a torque tool to a higher position, out of the way for the assembler. They are easy to adjust the tension and very reliable. Excellent product. Was packaged well and got here a little ahead of schedule.

These lanyards work well.

Works well in my application of supporting two pneumatic banders of 8.5# each.
