Astro-turf cleans shoes
It's an astro-turf welcome mat, so it's great for wiping shoes off. Snow comes off easily with a shovel. However, rain tends to be held between the strands, rather than draining off to the side. Even so, it's not slick. And being in Colorado, it soon evaporates in the high mountain air.

Border pulls away from mat
After 40 days the border is coming away from the mat. Since I'm beyond the 30 day return window, I'm unable to return it -- even though it's clearly a manufacturer's defect. Terrible product. Do not buy it or buy many so you can regularly replace it!
