The product was so exceptional that I purchased another one a couple of days after I received the first one. I am using this to keep tabs on a family member in a nursing home. To remain inconspicuous instead of changing out the sd cards and risking getting caught, I figure it would be a little more costly but easier to switch out the product itself with another one. I kind of wish I didn't as my suspicions were confirmed and it makes me angry that I have to act like I don't know what I know/saw and smile to the individuals' faces. However it is also a blessing as now I know what that family member is going through and I can be there for them and feel that it is now my duty to visit them daily not only to switch out the sd cards (until I receive the other product), but to show them even more compassion than before while there is still time (without telling them that there is a camera as they might slip up in their speech). All in all, I thank you for making this great product and to those who took the time to read this, when you get old or are thinking about putting a loved one into a nursing home, be sure to have medicaid as they will treat the individual like royalty. If on medicare, visit them everyday. Especially if they aren't able to speak in coherent sentences. They will care for your loved one more if they know a family member is going to hold them accountable. If at all possible, either die young or take care of your health well into your old age to remain self-sufficient and mentally stable.

This product is very good to have to record secretly. Many who have entered my home paid no attention to it and didn't realize we had a nanny cam in the home, until told about it. I even forget its there, it's literally just a usb plug to an outsider. The camera itself is small enough that you can't see unless up close making it even less obvious. The camera itself has two modes, continuous and motion detection. I leave mine on motion detection, as having it on continuous makes the camera get hot. Not burning hot, but enough to second guess leaving it on in that mode. With the motion detection mode I do not have that problem at all. I have two cats that play right by it, so it ends up recording often as its in my living room, but the camera remains cool. As for the recording, obviously there is no sounds for legal reasons, but the recording is very clear. The viewing is wide, but not high. If in your usual outlet, it'll record up to the mid thigh, I am 5'9". But to get my entire body and face it doesn't take much distance. I recommend putting this camera possibly in the kitchen counter outlet as it will give better view. Regular outlet gives more recording depending on foot traffic but not much a view (height) depending on what your trying to record, how far away, and size of the area. The recording itself is very clear when given enough daylight. It does not have a night vision mode and can still be triggered at night but will not see anything unless there is some ambient light. Overall I recommend this camera, it's easy to install, literally put in the storage chip, set your mode, and plug it in. That's it. Its very hidden and many will not realize it's even a camera. Perfect as a nanny cam. If your looking for night vision I would pass it up for obvious reasons. But for a secret camera, it is a good buy.

I purchased this unit to use as a semi-hidden "nanny cam" and have found it does the job -- but with some important limitations (detailed below). I have used it plugged into a 2-year-old 5200 milliamp battery pack (originally used to keep my iPhone charged), and with a full charge the camera operated for about 23 hours nonstop. I haven't tried using it as an actual USB charger so I can't talk about that function, but the video recorded by the camera is actually better than I expected -- more than clear enough to easily identify faces, items, etc. The fact that this unit (along with the separately-purchased battery pack & USB cable) is black makes it much easier to "hide i plain sight" than would be possible with a white or colored unit, so that's an added plus. Now for those limitations I mentioned.. 1) Sometimes having no sound with a video makes it more difficult to figure out what's happening onscreen. This is unavoidable due to legal constraints, but is a fact that should be kept in mind. 2) It's almost impossible to get videos that aren't at least a little crooked; this unit is so light that even just a little twisting of its power cable means it won't lay perfectly flat while in use. Again, a minor thing but worth considering. 3) The power cord plugs in on the same side as the camera lens, so it will block a small portion of what the camera "sees" in a downward direction. For good room coverage, you'll want to put this well back from any areas of interest so the cord doesn't block line-of-sight in a downards direction. 4) The first time I used this camera, I had it set back about 3 inches from the edge of the furniture it was sitting on, and it was only a day and a half later that I discovered this blocked the view of anything below the shoulders of anyone in the closer half of the room. You'll need to keep this right on, or just a fraction of an inch back from, the edge of any furniture. 5) The light from a flat-screen TV in an otherwise blacked-out room will give you a so-so image of people & things within a 15-foot radius of the TV. (By "so-so" I mean *just* enough light to see larger movement, but you may lose things like individual hand motions to the shadows.) Any less light than that and you'll have an almost totally black frame that even image enhancement can't really save. Someone using a smartphone under such circumstances will show up as a bright spot with a ghostly face floating directly above it, with glare blocking out everything else within a 3-4 foot radius. 6) I'm using an Apple MacBook Pro running MacOS X Catalina (v10.15.7) and the video files created by this camera CANNOT be opened by QuickTime. You'll need some other video viewing software (I downloaded the Elmedia Video Player, but there are several others to choose from).

This charger camera is an absolute disappointment from start to finish. The core function — motion-activated recording — is essentially broken. It records randomly and unpredictably, capturing hours of empty footage when no one is around, then failing entirely to record the moments that actually matter. I needed it to work twice. Both times, nothing. That kind of failure isn't just frustrating — it defeats the entire purpose of owning a hidden camera. The motion activation is essentially useless. Don't let the product description fool you: this camera will film a wall for three hours and miss the exact event you set it up to capture. The SD card situation is its own disaster. The included card either doesn't function or isn't included at all — I had to source my own. And forget about the advertised SD card reader: it was nowhere in the box. False advertising, plain and simple. Connecting to a computer is yet another gamble. It doesn't always establish a proper connection, meaning that on the rare occasion the camera does record something, actually retrieving the footage becomes its own ordeal. I gave this product a fair chance — more than one chance — and it failed every time. There is nothing redemptive here. Avoid it completely and spend your money on something that actually works.

Perfect to Spy or monitor any space at any time. It will re-record on SD Card ones full, but it gives you very good quality picture and sound. It is not noticeable at all and can record in secret well and easy. Good buy overall.

Set up was very easy no Wi-Fi needed nor do you have to constantly charge it because it is already plugged into the wall so that takes care of that. Camera quality is good. The reason why I didn’t give it five stars is because it advertise that there is audio and mine does not seem to pick up any audio. That is mainly the reason why I purchased it.

All you need is a micro sd card and it will run off WiFi. And even chargers your phone 😂

I have seen other versions of these types of cameras. This one caught my eye as it looks to be a better version and more of a premium product compared to other brands. Easy access to the SD card on the back doesn't have to take it apart to get to the SD card and the two different modes. You don't need to have it plugged into an outlet for power, you can use a power bank this is how I have been using it. I think this is a great option as some times there's not a power source around. It doesn't seem to take much power either. I have my 280000 power bank and its been keeping it going for days, then I change. No lights or anything for that matter can't tell there's a camera inside. The instructions and easy QR code make it easy to get going. I have a 32GB card inside it's best to make sure its a good quality 10 class card. Only supports 32GB otherwise it will not work. Motion detection is where this camera shines I have it in a shed by my place if I notice anything has moved or stolen I will check this camera I have it hidden so no one can see, have tested the motion detection each time I pop in the frame it will turn on for a few minutes then once gone it stops. Perfect for when it won't be on much. It isn't a wifi camera and where I need this camera doesn't have wifi so I'm fine with that it's perfect for the task I need it for. I have uploaded the videos to my laptop picture quality was good no lag it's everything I expected and envisioned it. Great handy camera!

Make sure you set date and time on the memory card before u use.. I still Havnt figured out how to set the time as the directions are very poorly made... It took trial and error but I swear by the device. The camera is good quality.. Not for night vision though. The motion sensor works great so that you don't fill your memory card quickly... I love that you can't see the mini camera unless u know what you're looking for.. It also comes with a bunch of discrete stickers that cover up the motion sensor button and SD card so noone will know its even there.. I bought a second one! I wish I could view it from my phone though... Also make sure you download VPN viewer I believe it's called so u can view your videos with ease... YouTube the camera and it tells you what software to download.

I researched the best hidden cameras on youtube, this charger camera is rated #1 out of 10!!! Along with the fantastic reviews on Amazon I decided to take a leap into the spy world. I'm very impressed with the product, the picture quality and how easy it is to set up. If you have an questions on set up there is this easy to follow YouTube tutorial that will make you feel confident with the use of your camera. The only thing I suggest is to plug it in right way up this way your camera records the videos properly.

I got this product after looking everywhere and reading the other reviews. I also bought a 258GB Micro SD card separately since I know it's not included. The package delivered contains: - The spy camera which also doubles as a charger - An iphone to usb connector cord - A usb to usb c connector - A usb to usb connector - The factory reset pin - A USB type SD card reader - 10 Stickers to cover up the sd card opening (I think the opening is already hidden for my case) - Manual and lovely note from the company owner The best part is the customer service. At first, the recorded videos were not playing, or sometimes playing just for few seconds with flickers and green screen and I was getting error messages. Then, I decided to email the customer service unit with screenshots. I was amazed at how fast they responded and exact they were in what I needed to do. All I needed to do was format my separately purchased SD card using FAT32 for windows and just like magic, their detailed instructions (with screenshots) worked!! The recorded videos are now very clear, smooth and no longer corrupt. Also, all the accessories work! I highly recommend their product and their service!!!

The setup was simple and quick. Motion detection is a quick response, and records in three 5 minute clips at a time (when motion activated). The camera quality is decent, but the picture isn't 1080p or 720p, and it is 4:3 aspect ratio. In a good lighting setting, it isn't an issue. Would recommend to anyone as the product does work, and videos work good. When transferring videos, you must use USB 2.0 only, not USB 3.0 as the computer won't recognize anything plugged in. A 5 minute clip recording is about 850mb in size so you will need a 128GB or 256GB micro SD card in order to store more videos.
