The bottom corners and edges, where most of the weight is dispersed, have started to fray. The foam underneath the back fabric has started to peek through. The grey/black color has definitely dulled over the years, but because it's distressed, it matches the aesthetic nicely. Overall, I'm very happy with how well this bag has held up. It's been my go-to carry-on/travel bag, schoolbag, etc, for years. I can fit a pencil bag, makeup bag, a few large sketchbooks and novels, and a change of clothes easily. The pockets on the side can fit my 32 oz water bottle as well. It's a great dupe for a Jansport bag, and honestly holds up just as well.I don't remember how much I paid for it in 2020, but I doubt it was the $40 it's listed for now. My 17.3 inch laptop fits perfectly fine in it. I didn’t think I’d be able to find a nice backpack to fit it short of those ugly Swiss bags, so I’m glad I could find something cute to fit it. The canvas material is thick and high quality, the straps have a nice foam so they don’t hurt your shoulders, the zippers work fine. I have not tested out the phone charger yet but it comes with one, and there’s even a little carabiner that comes with it to hook your doodads or your hand sanitizer onto. It’s a little bit browner than the pictures make it out to seem, so be aware of that.
