It’s great for commuting.
I love this light. Just screwed it to the back of my seat and it’s good. Really bright and has a few different settings. For someone that goes/lives in the city it’s nice to be able to just quickly take it off the mount and throw in my backpack. I don’t have to worry about the light falling off the mount because I feel it stays in place.

Bright and Easy
Bright light with sufficient lighting settings. The mounting brackets were a huge plus. The two types were more than enough to allow for proper fitting on bike. The battery is long lasting and is easy to charge with the USB-C chord. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new light.

Nice Light
this light is bright enough for all the rides i am on. several riders stated how it stood out. only reason i didn't give it 5* is i had to add some paper to the bracket to make sure the light doesn't fall out of the bracket,

Still working great after 5 years
I bought this light almost 5 years ago and it is still working great and charging like new. I've put about 3600 miles on the bike that it is mounted on, and regularly use the light. I can get about 4 rides at an average distance of 15 miles each before having to charge it. I didn't use the mounting plate that came with it. Instead, I 3d-printed a mount so I could more easily mount it on the back of my rear rack. It looks like the newest version has a USB-C charging port, which is an improvement over the older style USB on mine. I'm actually surprised that the battery is still good. I would buy another one. You need to remember to turn it off after a ride, but that's a user issue not a product issue.

Rooting for this product to last beyond your typical 2 months. The construction is solid.
I do not write product reviews, especially of cheap things on Amazon. Two months out these products misbehave and fail. I was specifically looking for bike lights to mount on seat stays (not seat post) and there just aren't enough sensible options out there and I took a chance on this one. After opening the package, I was blown away at the quality of construction on this one, and glad people are not making $2 parts and selling them for $15, this is worth what I paid. I hope a few months down, this thing holds up. I'm cheering for that. So yes, today, this is a definite 5-star.

So you want to Survive at Night?
As someone who got this as a gift, this light is unbelievably bright. I put it on the back of a bicycle that regularly travels across highways, freeways, parks, and just about any surface to concrete ratio that you can imagine. It has a few different options that I found super useful based on where you might be biking. As for use, you can click a button on the top and hold it to turn it off. I found installation really easy, and didn't have too much trouble taking it on or pulling it off. One option has the ability to be a very bright white LED that can be utilized on the front or the back. Cars can see you coming from a long ways away, and it can sport a bit of distance when you're riding at night. The Red/Blue flashing options are amazing for getting the attention of traffic in the United States. Everyone sees those lights and thinks a motorcycle cop is performing a traffic stop, and I've had quite a few people get a lane or two over. I've had my brother see how far away he can see these lights, and it is readily visible at half a mile with the flashers, and still stands out when it is just a bright white light. Regardless, if your intention is to be seen on a busy roadway, have no fear, this product will shine. It is easily rechargeable, and honestly it didn't take very long to get it from 0% to 100%. I've used a few different lights in the past and found this one to be very handy. If you're just trying to ensure traffic notices your existence though, this would be my choice hands-down. It is noticeable from over half a mile away, and cars will actually give you a lane at night when they see this. As far as battery life goes I've been using it off and on since October 7th, and have only had to charge it once or twice, and again; it only took, maybe an hour or two to get it to full charge again. For $20 it's not a bad gift, and I would probably buy another if this one randomly blew up on me. I'm out in Oklahoma, and we have weather of all kinds, and so far it's been holding up pretty well.
