It's a win on all counts and more. I was hoping it would be matt black being cloth and it is. It's on an mp5k pdw pistol grip for a trial and so far it's working better than expected to the point i now rely on this where extra grip is required. Its easy to apply due to its flexibility I was able to produce a professional looking grip finish. I'm pleased with the looks and performance. The adhesive backing is very strong and seems unaffected by oil or grease transfer from gloves or cleaning and it grips!. I've also covered the steel handle of a Fairburn Sykes Commando knife which hugs the ridges on the handle and well stuck in place. I'm not used to covering grips and I've found the process very easy and satisfying to do. It's drastically increased. I'm very impressed with this tape, it's exceeded my expectations. I'll be using it on tools and other bits and pieces and given the roll Size it's cheap as chips and better than specific use products ive tried. Thoroughly reccomended! Update 6+months on, it's unaffected by water and and greases ir oiks I've used and sticks to plastics, polymers, metal, painted surfaces, ceramics, so far it's not failed me and as tough as hell! I'll be buying more when this eventually rubs out.
