Traditional Thai Kapok Roll-Up Meditation Mattress for Yoga Massage or Relaxation (Black, Red)

Check the website first as they have sale items there that they do not list on Amazon - I recently purchased the same item in a different colour as I accidentally ruined this one for £55 and free delivery. I started sleeping on the floor after a medical issue and this has been my bed for the past 4 years now. It takes a while to adjust, but as most modern devices ruin your body (like how squatting is better for you than chairs), floor sleeping has actually solved a few medical issues I had and provided better sleep. Anyway, enough of a tangent - this roll up matress is comfy though obviously the longer you use it, the more compacted the main traffic areas will become. It's easy to roll up and store, easy to put a hospital sheet over, though it is a bit longer than a normal mattress as it's designed to be able to roll up a bit of a pillow and to be flexible. Easy to spot clean but don't be a muppet like me and try and wash the whole thing as it turns out that kapok absorbs and holds water incredibly easily and you'll struggle to get it dry, hence the new purchase mentioned above. A really great option to have stored away for friends sleeping over, it won't compare to their own big fluffy matress if that's what they are used to, but it will provide a comfortable spot to crash for the night, especially if you ply them with some alcohol first.

I ordered this after spending some time researching floor sleeping and different products on the market to support this lifestyle change. I am a longtime sufferer of sciatica, so sleeping and getting a good sound night's rest is not something I take for granted. I settled for this because of the price point and the fact that it is handmade and the stuffing is eco. This mat is great. It meets the needs of a firm surface without being hard and provides just the right combination of support and cushioning for the joints too. I have started to sleep more deeply again than I have in years and if that is the only return I get from this product, that alone is worth the price. I also have high hopes that sleeping on this every night will start to create healing on other levels as I have read reviews from others who have completely recovered from back pain with a thai mat. Well packaged, good price, beautifully made and used for centuries by other cultures for floor sleeping. Great product for floor sleepers, holistic practitioners. body workers and anyone who wants their life to be less materially weighed down and return to simple remedies that work.

Good quality as expected

I bought this as I have a calcification tendinitis is shoulders/arms so cannot lie on ordinary mats for meditation. This is brilliant for me and very comfy. Would buy again.

The mattress arrived earlier than expected, it's very comfortable. Great value for money. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because although it was properly packed, the mattress was very dusty and looked quite dirty.
