these are really for controlling acoustic reflections within a room rather than "soundproofing" a wall between rooms. The acoustic energy absorbed by this panel will decrease the energy passing to the next room, but not as much as you are probably looking for. Real soundproofing is done by limiting contact between the walls, through double wall construction or a resilient channel mechanism that "suspends" the wall with as few contact points as possible to the other room. That really isn't an answer about this product specifically, but hopefully helps you understand what this product is intended for. How it would perform if built into a wall I have no idea, but I'd guess you'll be disappointed.

Question 2

Are these easily cut? I'd like to cut these lengthwise and hot glue together to form triangular shapes for bass traps.

I haven't done it, but I'm sure they are easily cut. The best ways I can describe its physical properties are: If I hold a pad up balancing it with one hand placed near its center, they're ridgid enough so that there's only a very slight droop towards its edges. But if I squeeze it between my fingers, I can easily compress it down to about 1/2" and when I let go it springs right back to its full 1-1/2" thickness.I think if I was going to cut it, I would compress it with a straight edge and use a carpet knife or something similar, but I tend to overthink things and maybe a good pair of shears would do just as well.

Question 3

I just opened the box and began handling. But I just saw a paper warning that it's fiberglass and to take precautionary measures. Is this fiberglass?

No, Applegate Cotton Batts are not fiberglass.  They are natural cotton fibers.  I apologize if the inserted sheet caused you any inconvenience, I believe those are shipped out with all of our insulation orders.

could i put this around the inside of a sonotube sub for tighter sound

The panels are somewhat pliable, but successful lining of a sonotube would depend on its diameter.
