I have to admit I had my concerns when I first purchased this unit. I have it hanging from the top of my 10 x 12 gazebo on my deck. It works GREAT! We can sit outside without any concerns of bites or pesky fly arounds from any type of bug. It has the bonus feature of two toned lighting which provides just enough without over powering the area. It's also easy to clean out with a simple turn on the bottom.

Works as expected. Keeps a charge.

As far as bug zappers go, this is a really good one. I'd give it a 5 for zapping. If all you are worried about is zapping bugs, buy this! If the plastic exterior could be removed from the zapper for cleaning, it would greatly improve the ease of cleaning. Listed below are the features I'm not so fond of: 1) The charge only lasts one day 2) Recharging takes HOURS and HOURS; then I need to remember to take it back outside 3) A small brush is supplied to remove dead bugs that are stuck on the metal rods on the zapper. It probably takes ten minutes to clean it. The brush needs to slide through the plastic rectangles to clean the metal behind it. The angle that can be cleaned at one time is very small, so I constantly have to move the brush (trying not to damage the bristles) to a new location. I'd guess 30 or more moves to clean it each day. 4) I could solve some of this by putting a plate or something below the zapper. Smaller bugs seem to die pretty quickly and don't always end up inside the zapper. It makes a mess out of the table I have it on.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We chose this product because of the great reviews we found while researching a bug zapper. We needed a bug zapper that did not need to be plugged in for our back deck and had enough power to zap bugs and hold a charge well. This bug zapper exceeded our expectations! This is our second one and could not be more pleased in the ease of use, the UV light, and the power this bug zapper has. We highly recommend. Noise level: A little noisy when large bugs are getting zapped continuously but worth it because it does the job so well. Ease of use: Three easy to use buttons that have indicator lights that light up nicely. Value for money: Worth every penny! Durability: Light weight and durable. Excellent design! Ease of cleaning: Empties very easily. Kills bugs: Bugs don't stand a chance with this zapper!

This Bug Zapper buzzes all the lil creatures who try to get too close, when I'm trying to enjoy my porch picnic with friends and family. I LOVE how simple this zapper is to put together and get up and running. Some of my favorite feature include that it is rechargeable, that it acts as a lamp with nice light if/when you don't want the buzzer, it is aesthetically pleasing, and it comes with a brush that makes it easy to clean! Seriously so happy with this purchase. Now I need some for my backyard too.

It’s been a year. Still not a single bug it was able kill. Such a waste of money.

I can place it anywhere in my house, even outside when I'm playing with my kids. It has a white and green light that serves as a lamp and at the same time has a blue light that attracts insects. It also has an automatic light that only turns on when it detects an insect. I'm impressed with the fast work it does. When an insect approaches, it makes a sound. That proves how efficient it is. Now I want to buy many for the summer time. At least here in Florida, there are too many insects. I placed it in the garage of my house. I always enter through here, so I won't have insects inside the house anymore.

Product seems to work fine, but the battery only lasts about 3 hours after removed from wall power. Very disappointed in short battery life.

Producto de buena calidad en general pero requiere recarga de manera diaria, no especifica si se puede dejar conectada todo el tiempo, costo un 30% más alto que en una tienda general de electrónica como Steren, por tener la venta de ser un producto con pila integrada

En general bien pero dura muy poco tiempo la bateria recargable y la luz azul tiene poca atracción de los mosquitos.
