Best live plant I have received in the mail
The shipping got delayed, so I was worried, but the little small plants arrived and still had moisture in the box. They all looked healthy and I planted them right away, so I expect a great success rate. Probably the best looking live plant that I’ve ever received in the mail.

Three sets of blackberries
I bought three sets of four blackberries from Hello Organics: Prime Ark Freedom, Osage and Natchez. They were delivered 2-3 weeks ago. All little plants arrived alive and healthy. I replanted them immediately into 4 inch pots in a 50/50 mix of Supersoil potting mix and peat moss. They were kept on a screened porch and got about 4 hours of morning sun per day. All plants have been growing nicely. They developed new leaves, some even a second cane. Today I replanted them into 1 gallon pots. Their roots have already filled in the 4" pots. From now on they will be living outside and be put on automatic drip irrigation. I will report back in a couple of months about their progress. Two comments. 1. It is recommended to check USPS tracking page. So that one knows when the plants arrive and can take care of them promptly. Don't be confused by the Amazon "Shipped" notification. That means only that a shipping label has been printed. In my case the actual packages were dropped off at the post office 3-6 days later. 2. All the plants that I have received from Hello Organics have been perfectly viable and have been growing nicely. But they are tiny and require patience. It will take at least two years until they grow to the size of the bare root plants that I purchased earlier this past winter from Bay Laurel Nursery for $7.95 each (plus shipping).

Brown and crispy after 4 weeks...
I received my plants about a week ago. They were packaged nicely in little fiber cups and the leaves were green. I live in central california and right now temperatures are in the 80s and dry. I amended my Sandy clay soil with organic soil. I have kept the soil moist since planting. As of now... one plant has leaves turning brown. The other three appear in good health. It could be simple transplant shock and will overcome in the next couple weeks. I will give an update in a few months. Update: As of today all four plants are now Brown and dead. It's a shame too since I went to the trouble to test the soil for proper nutrients and I used a moisture meter daily. I contacted the seller for a possible replacement but I was denied due to being past 30 days. The problem is a majority of plants don't show signs of problems until later than that. I guess I'll stick with buying plants from a local nursery from now on.

Purchased in 2021--still alive and well
I purchased these plants in 2021 and have held off writing a review until I got a solid growing season in. Last year was a success and they are returning without any issues. I will say this much--the reason that I gave the seller four stars--they need to be plainer in their ad about the actual size of the plants they will be shipping out and the care they will require. At this point, I've purchased a fair number of blackberry plants online and this seller's plants were TINY by comparison. (Also, you probably ought to mention the patent). Being me and somewhat goal-oriented by nature, I was determined to keep them alive. So I babied them for their first year, keeping them under shade cloths (they showed sunburn when I didn't) and watering them carefully, and held my breath during the ice storm of (the one that shut Texas down) and to my sheer delight they flourished. I now can't tell the difference between them and the two dozen other plants I have out there. They bore lots of beautiful berries last year. To the guy who claimed he was sold Himalayan Berries by this seller. Himalayan Blackberry plants are huge and have large, stiff thorns. The ones I received from this seller do not have thorns and behave as the other Prime Arcs I have. I suspect he propagates from seeds instead of tipping, which is why his are so small.

Really good plants for a really good price.
I ordered Prime-Ark Freedom blackberry plants from here twice this year: once in late April and once in late May. The order in April came while I was unexpectedly away, so by the time I got to those plants I lost one. However, for both orders, the plants came in excellent condition. These are starter plants, not 1-gallon pots from a nursery, so I didn't expect big well-rooted plants, especially for the price. They were better than expected. I got the second order of plants today, and they were bigger and more lush. The first set were maybe 2" tall with 2" roots, but the second set were around 3" with a beginning bush shape, and they had really healthy 4" roots. I'm very happy with these plants and I look forward to years of blackberries!

One died quickly, the rest are slowly progressing
The arrived very quickly and were as described. Young plants like these are very fragile. They can't withstand much in the way of stress and definitely can't withstand the full day of sun. They have to be transplanted into a larger pot, with room to grow a bit, and kept in a place where they're limited to about 3 hours of sun per day, and lots of shade. After several months of this, they can be planted in the ground, if that's what you choose. I got them into larger pots, with some good potting mix. One of them died very quickly, because they are very fragile. Another died shortly after transplanting into it's permanent home. The other two are progressing, although it's very slowly. One of the reasons might be that it's just too hot for them in Texas in July. Even when they're healthy enough to transplant into the ground, you don't want to do it when it's over 100 degrees, because they might not survive. If I had to do it over again, I might just spend the extra money and get the more mature plants. If you are willing to nurse these to maturity, they're a good value. But if you want plants that are more mature than this, and stand a better chance of survival, spend the extra money and get the more mature plants.
