Pure P147504 Siesta Rise DAB+/DAB/FM Digital Radio Alarm Clock, with USB Phone Charging, CrystalVue Auto-Dim Display, 3 Radio or Tone Alarms and 20 Station Pre-Sets, Black and White

I've had Pure DAB alarm clocks before, and this is the best one so far in my opinion. Maybe it's because I've had others that the process of setting an alarm is 2nd nature, but I don't have any problems with any of the menu features as some people seem to have. Straight out of the box, unfurled the aerial wire, plugged it in and waited about 30 seconds while it set itself up. I literally had to do nothing, it set the correct time and tuned in to multiple DAB stations. I then just scrolled through until I found my chosen station and saved it as a preset by holding the preset button down. The Alarms are great, I have the first one set to weekdays at 6:30am, thev2nd alarm set for 8am for weekends, and have the 3rd alarm set for Once for those other odd occasions. Snooze works at 10 min intervals. The DAB (or FM which seems just as good) wakes you up by gradually increasing the volume to the max volume that you have set when setting the alarm. I set at 10 which is loud enough. Tone is also an option but not tested that. The sound of the radio is good, the best I've had so far for a clock radio, mellow but with adjustment for bass & treble. Plenty loud enough for the bedroom. Headphone socket on the back as well if you need it as well as a USB connection on the back for your phone if you want to charge it up. The display that a lot of people seem to not like, in my opinion is great. Big clear numbers, bright during the day and auto adjusting to very dim at night. In a dark bedroom the numbers are very clear without dazzling you at night or lighting up the room. You can manually set the brightness if you don't like the auto settings but I think they are great. All in all a smart looking, good sounding, good value DAB alarm clock that wakes you up gently and with an auto setup that does a lot for you straight out of the box. I'm going to buy another for my wife's side of the bed as I really like it.

Having purchased several 'lower cost' radio alarms, DAB and non-DAB, over the past few years, the old saying that "you get what you pay for" rings true on this occasion! Fed up with cheaper units with displays that had terrible viewing angle issues, and/or non DAB time shifting by minutes over several days etc, etc... I decided to bite the bullet on the Pure Siesta Rise S which I had dismissed in the past owing to its relatively 'high cost'. So: 1) Build Quality & Aesthetics - Great looking and build quality certainly matches price. No complaints. 2) Ease of use - fine if you are used to setting anything with a few buttons and options. 3) Quality of Display - excellent; good size to view across room and very clear. 4) Display Brightness/Control - excellent although we personally found the AUTO dimming too dim for 'across the room' viewing at night. BUT, and in spite of anything you read to the contrary - you CAN manually set the brightness display for both ACTIVE (ON) & STANDBY mode: MENU > DISPLAY > [ACTIVE / STANDBY] > BRIGHTNESS > [Auto, 1, 2, 3 etc.] Very quickly had the display brightness set exactly how we preferred. 5) Sound Quality - It's a Radio Alarm Clock! Not a a piece of audiophile equipment however, the sound is excellent and far superior to the lower cost units. You can even adjust the treble and bass via the MENU > AUDIO settings. 6) Alarms - it has 3, again , easy to set exactly how you wish - days, times, beep or radio station. Perfect. 7) Did I mention it has Bluetooth? It does. Haven't tried that yet but it will stream audio from another device in the same way as a bluetooth speaker does i.e. as a receiver. 8) Add 1 x Headphone Output (nice), USB charging port (only 1.0A so not a fast charge but well, overnight is fine!) 9) And lastly, unit power is via a micro USB port so you are not tied to a specific mains adaptor with a random round appliance side plug - any decent USB PSU should work if the original unit fails. Oh, and by the way, I paid full price for this item and wish I had done so instead of wasting time and money on inferior products in the past...

Il n'est pas très compliqué à régler contrairement à ce qu'on peut lire dans les commentaires. Il met même à jour l'heure et la date tout seul. Le son est très agréable, il est réglable dans le paramétrage des alarmes. La luminosité est parfaite (affichage des digit en bleu), il ne fait pas de lumière dans le noir. La seule chose qui lui manque, et c'est un gadget, c'est la projection au plafond. Je suis ravie de mon achat.

Scelta per sostituire una vecchia radiosveglia, posso dire di essere sodisfatto di questo modello che ha una estetica classica nel corpo, ma moderna nel display, con dimmer automatico, le funzionalità sono di...sveglia, con possibilità di impostare toni, radio RDS, DAB, volume crescente, giorni feriali e non, tre sveglie diverse, non è scontato che questa funzionalità sia implementata bene, ma qui la trovo davvero ben fatta. Non c'e' una batteria tampone ma la sveglia è in grado di ricevere ora esatta da RDS o DAB e le sveglie programmate vengono mantenute, per cui non ho notato problemi. Come detto è anche radio RDS e DAB, puo' memorizzare stazioni e ha un suono gradevole pur se non si parla di hifi. Nel complesso fa bene il suo lavoro ed è un oggetto molto gradevole come design.

sieht gut aus, funktioniert, man kann verschiedene Weckzeiten einstellen, der Klang ist gut, die Helligkeit wird gut automatisch gedimmt, so dass nachts nichts stört, der Wecker aber immer noch gut abgelesen werden kann, der Betrieb ist sozusagen geräuschlos, sehr gut es Gerät, empfehlenswert

Arrivata nei tempi stabiliti, niente da dire sullo stile e design , qualità materiali eccellenti. Provata e testata, ma le aspettative erano altre sopratutto nel prezzo che sicuramente non rispecchia le qualità tecnologiche tanto decantate. Poteva essere fatto di più riguardo l'acustica pur essendo buona, il tuning di ricerca di stazioni fm e dab è al quanto lento e tutto deve essere intuibile attraverso il display altrimenti ci si scorda come possa funzionare, ottima la ricezione e la precisione di cattura dei canali. Nel complesso soddisfatto , consigliato per chi cerca quacosa in più di una radiosveglia.

Chiffres peu lisibles : le jour à cause des reflets ; la nuit, à cause du dimmer. Chiffres trop collés. Pas de batterie de secours en cas de coupure de courant. Sinon (très) bon appareil.
