Spidey powers, amazing results, does mirrors too
Wow! Great job. I have had this for about 18 hours and so far, it exceeds my expectations. Long review for those seeking more info about this great product, but hesitating. I own robot vacs, so not new to the experience. But because of those, I hesitated on getting one of these. The vac bots do well (not ecovacs, yet....) but have become very complicated and needy. Not the case with this bot. It and its app are quick to start to work, and simple to use! Set up the app first, it's quick. I have a 2 story home with over 25 windows. Some on 1st floor are nearly floor to ceiling. Takes a ladder to clean most- even inside. With bad knees, ladders aren't our friend - so I called a pro for an estimate- over $600 (inside & out). Nope, do it ourselves. This was a prime days deal, so with extra pads and ecovacs solution I was in at a little more than $500, beating the cost of a pro for one trip, but bot can do many more over it's 3-6 year life. It does a great job inside, though this larger bot can't do every window- some I'll still have to handle, but not enough for me to look at the smaller bot yet. Outside, fantastic cleaning, streaked one window because I didn't follow instructions and clean pad after each window, and mine were dusty. Fixed that by having a warm water/dawn solution in a small bucket followed by quick rinse. Inside, pad cleaning wasn't needed but about every 3-4 windows. It's about as loud as a vacuum on high power, so you won't want to use it in same room and try to watch TV. 😉 You also won't get to leave it for long - it's too fast for that. Cleaned my large windows on quick clean in about 4 min - on thorough same ones in about 6-7. Pros- no need for ladders -as long as you can reach the bottom part of a window well, simple setup and app, economically feasible over pros - comparable to self if using distilled water instead of solution - but less mess and work. Cons-this larger bot won't get my traditional mutton panes well, nor tiny windows (did still get two smaller ones, so check your window sizes compared to the bot size) - & look at the mini if you hav mostly very small windows. Docking station is a bit heavy, about 19 lbs, so moving the bot and station may be tough for some. Once in place, the bot itself is only about 3 lbs and has a handle. The back storage - and cleaner storage are convenient, but the back compartment is a little difficult for me to open- probably a me thing, but it is a little tough to pull out. And the door has to stay down if charging from the wall, I haven't seen a cord exit (notch to let the cords out while back door is up) making it less easy to move about, and a larger floor footprint while charging. To know- it pulls the cord out it needs from the dock, but the dock will need to be nearby. The bot isn't independent of it. But the dock can be charged so working with outside windows away from power is still possible. The cord easily retracts with a push of button to remove trip issues. Update, be sure to install app first. It works without, but you have more control with. Bot got stuck on door handles (glass door) and fought some (and lost some) on window blinds installed inside frame. App helps you watch for these and pause/remote control the robot instead of ending a job. I opted for the W2 pro Omni because it covered most windows and had the dock/portable power. Will look at a mini for future just because of smaller window possibilities and carry weight (not getting younger). Haven't tested upstairs yet, but the bot suction is very firm, so don't expect issues and look forward to clean windows without acrobatics there. Cleans inside and outside without much of a mess. Does have a few tiny drips, so I'd keep a small cloth nearby if you have delicate items (window sill/wood floors). I make more messes using water and a chamois. Outside, we'd have clean windows, but the patio, lawn, etc would be soaked as we sprayed water, climbed, cleaned, sprayed rinse water, repeatedly. Bot is much cleaner! Would recommend as a way to keep windows clean vs waiting for a year or scrambling to spruce up for visitors. The safety instructions say for residential only. I wouldn't hesitate to use on small buildings, but the cord length would stop work on high rises unless you could open the windows nearest the apartment. Overall, I highly recommend this if you have a lot of windows and don't like cleaning from ladders! Even without all my windows available, it will pay for itself in 2x over a pro; and probably about 4x over fancy extend-a-pole solutions (that will still drown your yard below). Perfect, not completely- but as good or better than what I can do - & a lot less work/much safer.

The price has nothing to do with great performance and small size
This window robot is great! It is small, so it’s footprint allows it to be used on normal windows that have a small area, or side- light windows, or even grided windows. It works very well, easy to use, and is amazing at leaving windows streak free. I’m not sure how well it works if one uses some substitute window solution other than what is made by this company. It would be great if one could detach the safety cord as it is somewhat useless for ground level windows and gets in the way. It would also be nice if the power cord was longer or there was an adapter to make the cord longer. I was very pleasantly surprised by its performance, but you really have to stay there while it’s cleaning the window unless you have very large windows because it gets done so fast. I was hoping it would work to clean the sunroof on my Tesla or the windows on my car, unfortunately it keeps saying it’s at the edge of a window even when it’s in the middle. Not sure how this is determined, but it could be the curvature of the glass because I noticed when I put it on the roof of the Tesla it does not lay flat against the glass and you get a low suction alarm. It might be possible to put a spacer pad in such that you can see a larger area, but this has to be confirmed from the manufacturer.. I have not used it on any heavy duty mode other than but the default mode works just fine. I have very dirty windows all the time on the west side of my house from the well water from my sprinkler and it cleans crystal clear. Cleaning fluid us expensive but there is enough supplied for two times on a 1800 sqft house. The refill should last well over a year and is cheapest ordered direct.

Robots - the ups and downs
We have 28 windows 3’x3’, couple of doors and some smaller bathroom windows so a robot idea was very attractive. I read reviews at different times and places ordered this setup. I was hugely disappointed when reading instructions it said “Not for outside use”! 50%of value lost, hadn’t seen any review reference this! Then instructions stated “must be present and monitor while operating”. More value lost (you can still drink a beer while operating, but Bourbon goes better watching robots work)! Windows must have a 3mm rim (our inside windows complied), but again, negatives not mentioned in reviews and you now own this thing. Operation was interesting. Job done is very good to excellent. The robot removes dog snot, fly specks, and grandson’s greasy fingerprints very well…it double treats heavy spots, releases cleaning fluid mist when it senses need. It gets corners very well. Maybe the best advantage is that it’s 2” height moves perfectly behind curtains and hanging plants. Two of our windows were behind a large desk and had a two year film on them. The bot was easily released behind desk and completed work without having to move desk. Did have to repeat three passes to remove old film to achieve my satisfaction with job. Interesting programming watching it position itself and the process of cleaning. It likes to orient for long runs if windows aren’t square. Need to know: the bot is female. She talks to you telling “good suction as been achieved “ and “job completed, about to release from window”. The cloth cleaning pads need rinsed and rotated often, about every two windows. Easily done. I will order about 6 more of these just to keep the setup working with less interruption. Also, their fluid appears to work well on target areas. It appears to be economically stingy but will order more for storage. (If you don’t rinse and wring out pad often the robot will leave a rectangular “dirt” mark where it stops on window that is visible in certain light and angle, but cleaned often this is avoided). The machine is very easy to use. Needs three hour charge to get started, but charges while in use too. I needed an extension cord from our outlet to avoid bot lifting transformer/power cord off floor. Only aggravation is (was) the inclusion of a “tether cord” that is supposed to be attached to table leg or chair during use (no understanding of why and it was completely unnecessary for any operation we did). Maybe very large windows to avoid stretching power cord. Finally, with knowledge of operation it is a very good machine and probably makes indoor window cleaning easier, certainly more fun and entertaining! Dependability still to be evaluated. UPDATE when you download and use app it states in double clean “ for use in exterior cleaning “!

Great machine
We live in Baja Sur Mexico very near the sea and this thing is a life saver! Our community is experiencing a construction boom and the dust from the sand roads is everywhere. We hoped this would do an ok job but it does an excellent job of removing the salt and dust. Our house has many sliders with multiple 4’ x 8’ panels and it takes about 10 minutes per side using deep clean mode on the outside and thorough mode on the inside. We do need to flip the pad after the first panel then give it a good rinse after the second. We found it works the best wring the pad the patting it dryer with a towel, too wet makes streaks. After the cycle is complete just do a quick buff with a microfiber towel in the corners and where the WINBOT was removed and wow, spotless streak-free windows! It is truly an amazing machine that has exceeded our expectations and that is saying a lot considering we are very picky about our clean windows. It literally saves us hours each week.

Quite an advance in window cleaning!
This window washing robot was the perfect size for my house and windows and patio doors. It works very well and does a very good job. It is not perfect, as some of the outside dirt doesn't come off with its use. But for my hard to reach upper windows that I used to have to get a ladder to clean, it works very well and cleans them very good. Once in a while a few little spots have to be hand wiped with a harder motion to get everything off. I would say this little guy gets about 98% of the dirt off of all the windows and patio doors I cleaned. It's very fun and easy to use and really is amazing how well it adheres to the window and how well it cleans overall. Turns a nasty job into a pretty pleasant experience.

I guess it sort of works. It’s not going to save time or do a better job. 🤷♂️
This isn’t a bad product, but in my opinion the Winbot mini window cleaner robot doesn’t save time and isn’t worth the hassle. The biggest issue I noticed is in my video. Most of the cleaning solution turns into mist and goes into the air, so the glass stays dry. I used about 1/4 of the bottle per window and still ended up dry-cleaning most of it. I thought about pre-spraying them manually with windex but the manufacturer said not to use non oem solution. It wasn’t a windy day, and the misting nozzles are pointed outward and away. I live in the Southwest, where it’s hot and dry, so the fluid will evaporate before it hits the glass. This was a cool January day and it was already ineffective, which means it will only get worse later in the year. The cleaning pads get dirty as fast as your windows are dirty. I had to clean the pad after every window, and it still left streaks. The windows were very dusty, so my wife had to pre-clean them. At that point I started wondering why we even have this device 😂 I also tried it on a glass shower door with the same result. The solution goes airborne, the glass stays dry, and it actually did a poor job. You also have to monitor it constantly, so it doesn’t save time unless you enjoy watching it clean. I didn’t get a chance to download the app and see if they have any way to point the nozzles down on the glass more but I doubt it. Between finding an outlet, refilling the solution, cleaning or replacing pads, and storing the unit, it’s easier to use a good squeegee and window-cleaning solution. Plus, with traditional cleaning you can also clean the window frames, screens, and weep holes at the same time. Sorry ecovac, mine is going back and I’m going to order a top quality squeegee and window washing concentrated solution.

Winbot Mini Great in Concept But Flawed
All the ecovacs reviews seem to be lumped together. This review is for the ecovacs Winbot Mini. I ordered this because I have high 2nd story windows that are difficult to access without a ladder. The product in concept has a lot of potential. Stick it to a window and let it roam around until the window is clean. There are a couple of major issues, however, that made it not work for me. First, the cords need to either come up the outside of the house, or from inside, but then the window can never be shut to allow the device to clean the whole thing. The second issue is the device just seems to smear the dirt around instead of really picking it up. The edges never get clean, and when the sun shines through the window I could see streaks and marks. It also leaves a nice smudge when you remove it that needs a follow up cleaning with a rag. Third, the device is slow! I can typically clean my windows inside and out with a squeegee and a rage in about 5 mins per window. This device takes 5 mins per pane, or 20 mins per window for most of mine, and then wrestling with cords and the safety rope getting wrapped up on bushes and trees, and getting all tangled takes another 5 mins. What normally takes me about an hour took all day with this. It was in no means a time saver even though it’s supposed to be autonomous. But the deal breaker was that this device was constantly getting stuck with a blinking red light indicating “not enough pressure”. Our windows have a shallow bezel next to the glass, and the device would not detect the edge of the glass but instead run up over this bezel. It would then start blinking red and stop. I could manually move the device off the bezel, but then it would just start over cleaning from the start and get stuck again, never finishing the window. After this happened dozens and dozens of times, I gave up and went back to a squeegee and was done in 30 secs. Great concept, but flawed with some window brands and designs. Make sure your windows have an edge that the device can bump up against before purchasing this device.

First impressions are nice....
After reading others reviews I decided to give this bot a shot. I have a couple vacuum bots and figured a window bot would be a good addition even though the later is not set it and forget type of bot. You have to place it on the windows and sort of pay attention to it more so than a floor robot. I've only had it for a little bit and still getting the hang of prepping the pad. I've had a few instances now where the bot says its slipping and it stops cleaning which I think is pad related leaving too much liquid on the window causing the treads to slip. PROS: - I like the base station. The previous version doesn't have this and requires to plug in power but for me, I have windows with no outlets close by so moving the base station around works really well. Plus it has compartments for all the required items like water, pads, cabling. - Does a decent job at cleaning. A few of my exterior windows were pretty dirty since I have not cleaned them for a little while. - Really easy to use. - The remote control through the app works really well if you need it. I could imagine it being really helpful on a large window if the robot got stuck some how and the person couldn't reach it. - No problems with the sprayers. They both work fine. CONS: - The app remote is only bluetooth (ding 1 star). I think this stinks. Sure use bluetooth to control the robot but it doesn't have any notification capability. On my 3rd time using it I set up to clean a sliding glass door. At some point it got stuck on the handle. Luckily I happened to be walking by and noticed it not moving and then noticed the red light. If it was on wifi, it could have sent a notification 'hey there's a problem'. - Related to the above statement; if the app isn't open there's no communication. If the app isn't open, I do not know if the bot is done, having a problem, low battery, etc... - It seems that the robot favors horizontal cleaning. I've seen at times when it is going sideways that its slipping and the robot sort of turns upward to compensate. That's fine and all but if it did more vertical cleaning it wouldn't have to worry as much. Maybe they tested and found it uses less battery going horizontal vs vertical. - After it is done, you will probably have to wipe a little here and there especially where the robot finally stops. Seems like every time I go get it, there's a little print where the pad was and I have to wipe it down. Enhancement idea: The windows in your house are static objects. It would be nice if the robot remembered the window and maybe you even name it in the app. Then it could track when you last did the window etc.. Sure if you have windows the same size, how do you know if it's doing window A/B/C. That could be handled in the app.

Save time and efforts
Cleans very well (except few dirty corners) useful for houses with big and difficult windows to clean

Don't think this will completely clean your windows
I am a disappointed. According to reviews this is the best window cleaner but it only cleans 60% of the windows so only 3 stars. It leaves streaks everywhere. It cleans windows and mirrors but they are definitely not completely clean. Even a little dirty window can not be cleaned completely. Suitable for cleaning very dirty windows a little. Will continue to use, but disappointed with the final result at all.

Amazing product !! Amazing solution for daily Chores
A Game-Changer for Window Cleaning – Thank You, Ecovacs! I recently purchased the Ecovacs Winbot W2 Pro, and I must say—it's an absolute revelation. This beautifully designed device has completely transformed the way I clean my windows. What used to be a time-consuming and physically demanding chore is now effortless and even enjoyable. The application of glass window cleaning is superb. The Winbot W2 Pro moves smoothly and efficiently across the surface, leaving no streaks behind. It handles even large or hard-to-reach windows with ease, and the results are consistently spotless. The suction power and navigation are impressive, and I love how quiet it operates. I genuinely want to thank Ecovacs for creating such an intelligent and effective solution. As someone who used to clean windows daily, I can’t express how much this product has improved my routine. It’s saved me time, effort, and frustration. Truly a must-have for any modern home or office. Highly recommended!
