ORTONYX Lumbosacral Back Brace With Lumbar Support Pad for Men and Women

I like that it has the perfect amount of Lower back and, abdominal support. I like that the Velcro binding is strong and supportive and, it fits my size 0-2 waist size. I like that I can make it tighter or looser depending on what I'm doing. I received it 6 days after post-operative Low back surgery (Lumbar 5-Sacral1). I have 3 incisions 2 on my lower back and 1 on my lower abdomen. As soon as I put this brace on it was like a God Send! Immediate relief of post-op incisional discomfort. The brace SUPPORT helps me to maintain Sternal Precautions which, IS my doctor's Order I am required to follow if I wanted my spine to heal correctly. I wear my brace every day. I wear it while riding my upright bicycle, when I go on walks,& to do chores around the house. I like that you can remove the padded liner and 2 of the 4 steel support posts can be removed to clean & disinfect the brace after wearing it during exercise.

I had a botched lumbar laminectomy in December of 2019. Mid January I had to have a CSF leak surgically repaired. Then, in April of 2020 I had to have a lumbar spinal fusion. If I thought I had back pain prior to the laminectomy in December, I was in for a real shock by the end of April! I wore the prescribed back support brace after the fusion surgery. And, eventually, I chose to buy a Copper Fit brace locally. It worked good. But, the stress of the back surgeries has caused me to lose more than 20 pounds and the Copper Fit was becoming too big for me. I ordered this brace and it arrived today. It is AMAZING!! Honestly, this is the first time I've felt like my lower back was truly supported. And, for the record, I will be sleeping in this brace (as I did the Copper Fit) and I am positive that it will absolutely alleviate some of the back pain to allow me to get some decent sleep. I highly recommend this brace. And, I would also recommend that you automatically plan to wear a lightweight t-shirt underneath of it so you don't have to worry about sweating and getting the brace dirty :o)

This back brace is simply amazing. Why? - Quality is fantastic. - Fit is great due to 2 straps you can velcro to ensure better support. Have never seen that before. - Support that you truly feel is helping you and your back and keep you in line. (pun intended) - Color happens to be great too with the grey and red. No weird glaring tags.

This back brace was just what I wanted and seemed to be good quality. Unfortunately, the sizing is misleading. My waist is 27" and since this said it was ok for 26" I thought it would be fine. Turns out at the tightest I could get it, it was barely snug enough. If it stretched out at all (which is inevitable), it would have been unwearable since the hook and loop velcro closures wouldn't have touched at all. It was incredibly disappointing and I had no choice but to return it. If your waist is 30" or more, it should work for you. Me? I'm back to searching.

This back brace really does the trick. I have a weak lower back due to injury and this brace is a lifesaver when it goes out. Comfortable, adjustable, and supportive.

OMG!!! I just received this brace this morning. I just ordered it last night! Normally I procrastinate on reviews BUT I have to tell anyone with lower back pain that this item is fantastic!! I just Lumbar Spine Surgery where my spine was completely rebuilt. All my Lumbar Discs were in BAD condition. My Surgeon took 7 hrs in Surgery, he did not want to put titanium rods so he used titanium spacers & a whole lot of repair on “each” Vertebrae (1.5 hrs on each). I had a brace I bought 2 yrs ago & 1 given after surgery in Hospital. Both were very uncomfortable!! This one? Holy Cow, talk about a difference not only in comfort but stability. Es la segunda que pido, la anterior fue hace un año sólo que con el tiempo pues se deforma un poco por el uso , pero el velcro muy bien y resistente, las varillas muy bien también.

I originally purchased the Ortonyx lumber Support belt XS on November 29th 2021 and I have been using it regularly ever since. I am about to purchase another one because it has just started to fall apart. Thank God it is still available for sale! This item is Brilliant! I do a lot of manual labor work in my job, so I am constantly bending up and down, and this belt has saved my back and sciatic nerve. It is incredibly supportive, comfortable and well-made. It has strong support struts at the back and flexibility at the front and sides. There were times when I did not wear it and I suffered from repeated sciatica and lower back pain. As soon as I put the belt on, I felt supported, the pain lessoned and gradually went away. Now I wear it nearly every day and have been doing so for at least 2 years. Having tried a few back braces, this one is by far the Best back support brace I have ever purchased. Thank you for selling this excellent, well-made item!

***If unsure order a SIZE DOWN! I am a 5'6" tall, 140lb female and I got the S/XS.... and I have it tightened ALL THE WAY. If I had gotten the Medium it definitely would have been too big*** Was experiencing horrific back pain after 6 months into classes; I suspect it's from sitting down 8+ hours a day in online school. Couldn't even get relief at night, sitting, standing. Well this back-brace has literally been life changing. I bring it with me now to all my classes, just wear it under your normal shirt but on top of a tank-top. Within a week or so my pain level was significantly reduced and I can actually study with minimal pain now.

I used this product for long standing lower back pain. It has given me considerable relief and is comfortable to wear.
