Ready to go right out of the box, just attached the handle and hose. Waited 24 hours per the instructions then plugged it in. Reduced humidity from 60% to 40% in just a couple hours. Pump works great, ran the hose about 10 feet to the drain. Easy to use, just set the humidity and that's it. Note, this is a large heavy unit, but so far does a great job removing humidity. It also has a very powerful fan just be careful where you point it. Hopefully it will be reliable and last, using in a large basement that has moisture problems.
