Easy to use, works extremely well, worth the price.
I only received this today and did 2 of 3 carpeted rooms in my house. It’s small enough for storage purposes but it’s mighty in the work it does. I’m very pleased with the results. It was impressive to see how dirty the water was after the first run through. It’s easy to move and fits my needs perfectly. For the price I’m very satisfied. If it causes me issues in the future or dies after a few uses I’ll try to remember to come back and update. But so far so good and quick and easy to get the rooms back to feeling cleaning and the carpet so much cleaner looking and smelling! It didn’t leave a lot of water soaked in the carpet which tells me the suction power is pretty darn good.

Surprisingly easy to use
As often as my cat upchucks hairballs on the carpet and my elderly mother forgets to take off her shoes when she comes in the house, I figured it was probably cheaper to buy a carpet shampooer than rent one as often as I'd like to be able to use it. The Bissell TurboClean PET is lightweight, compact, comes with handy tools for upholstery, and is surprisingly easy to prep, use, and clean. The clean and dirty water tanks come off and go back on securely and without struggle. The mechanism is incredibly simple: plug it in, turn on the switch, push it forward while holding the trigger to dispense the soapy water, then release the trigger and pull back to suck dirty water out of the carpet. Even the instruction booklet is comprehensive and clear. I was thoroughly impressed with how much water I could pull out of the carpet. I made several passes to get as much out as possible, and the carpet was only damp when I finished. Since I waited for nice weather so I could open the windows, the carpet was completely dry within less than 8 hours. The cord is reasonably long - actually longer than my Shark vacuum. It's fairly loud, but not egregiously so. Cleanup was also easy: the dirty water tank has a small plughole for quick emptying, and a larger hole for removing the float mechanism that allows for a thorough rinsing. The brushroll area is less easy to clean, but the entire device is lightweight enough to turn upside-down in order to get a paper towel or disinfectant wipe around and behind the brushroll (I highly recommend thoroughly cleaning that area after using). There were a few spots that didn't come entirely clean, and I was expecting that, but all in all, the "before and after" difference was remarkable. I also purchased Bissell's Clean + Allergen shampoo due to my allergies, and detected no fragrance and had no reaction to the shampoo.

Bissell turbo clean pet
Very happy with this purchase. It clean really well and vacuums up much of the water so my rugs didn’t take long to dry. As other reviewers stated, the reservoir must be dumped even before all the clean water has been used, but still worth the effort. It is light weight and does not take a lot of room to store. Recommend!

Good for pet odors and dirt, not pet hair though. Keep that in mind.
I misread what ALL this shampooer does unfortunately. I will start off with the pros: it is light weight and extremely easy to assemble and comes with attachments as well for smaller spaces. It also came with some sample cleaners too. It lifts dirt and pet odors easily and I love that. You can also use it on furniture which is a big plus. The cons: The water reservoirs are very small. Expect to empty the dirty water one every 3-5 minutes, and refill the clean water reservoir about the same time as well. One of the biggest reasons I bought this was to help remove the dog hair. I misread the listing and didn’t realize it’s specifically for heavy dirt and pet odors, not necessarily hair. While I will say it does a good job with odors, it’s not good for hair. It does lift the hair out of the carpet very easily in chunks, but you do have to pick up those chunks of hair. It’s nice that it lifts the hair out of the carpet, not so much having to go and pick up chunks of hair it spits out 😅. I live in a rental and the carpet is not an appealing color and didn’t appear to have been cleaned when we moved in. After my dog has had a couple accidents and the carpet just looking dirty in general I decided I just needed a shampooer. I won’t say there was a *major* difference in the color but it did pick up a significant amount of dirt and did look slightly lighter after. So I’m thinking the carpet is just ugly in general. The after pictures are still wet but you can see the difference. I will mention that if you’re doing a small room, expect to have to empty and refill a minimum of 3 times. I’ll also drop a picture of all the dog hair it lifted and spat out. Just happy the dog hair is coming out. I’ve only done 1/3 of my apartment currently as I make this review and I’ve emptied and refilled it atleast 10 times now. You get your cardio in for sure.

Good machine, need to do extra clean out when done
Just got this and used it for the first time. I am impressed with the suction, and the sprayer worked effectively. I had an old cat urine stain that I pretreated with Nature's Miracle Urine formula, then used the Pet Pro Oxy urine eliminator formulas that came with this machine. I liked the formula, it smelled fresh. The other sample formula smelled like candy. Carpet was not too wet when done. For cleaning the machine afterwards, I followed the instructions, but recommend additional rinsing out of the bottom of the machine, I turned it upside down in my sink and used the sink sprayer up and around the roller brush. A lot of fur came out. I also used the hose, and the clean out instructions for that were inadequate as well. I took the hose into the bathtub and ran a lot of water into it, shook it and let it flow out a few times. A bunch of dirty water came out. You don't want to leave any foul water or material in your machine or hose -- I have had that experience before and gross mold grew inside.
