Likes: almost everything. Very easy to set up out of the box accepting the default channel assignment. The mic used by the translator picks up EXTREMELY well. It actually would be best to have the person translating be situated in a different room that where the event/meeting is taking place, because the mic picks up whatever sound is in the background. But that's a good thing as the mic performs very well. Left the gain setting alone on the back of the transmitter, set the mic volume to half way. Adjusted volume down some on the receivers, sounds good, they have adjustment on the receivers up or down as needed. The system WORKS! Very pleased with initial use. Can't comment long term but very satisfied with purchase at this point.Dislike/wish list: One thing, I wish the monitor input was 2 RCA jacks and not 1 RCA jack, for connecting the audio from the audio mixer output to the transmitter system input, where the person translating listens to the monitor signal in the headphones/earbuds connected to the transmitter. It works and for speech only you don't "need" 2 RCA input jacks. It just seems odd that there is only 1 RCA jack input for monitoring and 1 RCA jack output from the transmitter for recording. They should have made it with a pair of RCA jacks in and a pair of RCA jacks out. We can work with it.

I guess I will go five stars for this, but if there was a 4.5 I would do that. We use these at a church that seats 200 with 2 to 5 spanish parishioners. The range is super incredible, and with a brick church we would know if the range was anything other than good. Quite frankly, I think you could use these 2 blocks away with no issues....The sound for the receiver is great and the transmitter is literally plug and play. I don't know what else to say, it's just a good system.Now, the receivers seem cheap but after 6 mouths, not one has broken or stopped working. What has broken and is cheap are the headphones. We have 5 of 6 working now. However, the parishioners mainly bring their own and use them anyways, and since any headphone can plug in to the receiver this makes the system pretty versatile. You can also split the outputs and double the audience size of you want.Anyways, not perfect, but pretty close for under $700...

They work perfectly and is exactly what we needed at our church.Only problem with it is that one of the receivers won't turn on. The power button doesn't work and I can't open the inside to see the problem.So I am down to only 9 receivers but other than that it has been perfect and our Hispanic church members enjoy it very well.
