The towels are just the right thickness and softness; neither super thick and fluffy, nor thin and flat. The pattern is very pretty, and I love that the contrasting colors reverse. I love that the towels are patterned at all; instead of usually solid-colored towels. Honestly, I wasn't interested in the plain grey towels, and bought 4 sets, only to keep the patterned towels, and donate the plain ones. However, there are no patterned wash cloths; only solid-colored wash cloths. Platinum is the color I chose, and the presumed "dark grey" is lighter and browner than I imagined, but I am still happy with my purchase.
