This product helped my senior bengal to eat more. He loves it and we are on the second order. He had been losing weight snd lost his appetite , this has made a huge difference , he is eating more and loves the powder addition on his food. The weight is slowly coming back and he is doing great.

I care for TNR cats. They sometimes get under the weather. So this product is perfect. I just mix in the wet food as directed. After just 2 days they noticeably felt better. Very easy to use. They didn’t notice any oder or taste. So they just ate it willingly. The sides effects are good ones. Healthier looking eyes and less sneezing. I’d say it’s an excellent value.

I have tried this ready cal powder on two kitty's. First was a senior with cancer. She didn't like it, wouldn't eat it. It would have been a great help to slow her weight loss. But she refused to eat anything and didn't last long after her diagnosis.So,we adopted an 8 month old kitten from our local SPCA. Merle is a BIG boy! He looks like he is 8 years except in his face he is still very kittenish. He was a little lethargic and his fur was dry/dull. He was 8 lbs but looked skinny for his size. We tried multiple foods & lots of it but he was not gaining weight. I started sprinkling the Ready Cal powder on his food. HE LOVES IT! He cant get enough. He recognizes the tub at feeding time. He has gained two lbs and his fur is healthy & soft. He is very playful and has tons of energy now. This high calorie powder is easy to use ,smells good. It has lots of vitamins & minerals that his food must be lacking. He has zero issues with it. It might not work in every situation but this is a great product.

I started my senior cat on this supplement a month ago because he lost weight. The vet said within a month that he lost another pound and that I should stop giving it to him. Unfortunately, this product didn't do anything for my cat.

I really wanted this supplement to work for my elderly cat, but unfortunately he refuses to eat anything once this is mixed into his food. I started with about a quarter of the recommended amount to try to ease him into it, mixed it thoroughly, and even tried dissolving it in a little water first before adding it to his food. No matter what I tried, the moment he tasted it he would stop eating and refuse the rest of the meal.Because of that, I honestly cannot say whether the supplement works or not since my cat simply will not eat it. The container is larger than I expected, which is a nice value, but sadly it will probably just sit on my counter since my cat will not touch food that contains it.Giving three stars because it may work for other pets, but it just was not something my cat would accept no matter what I tried.

My 21-yr old orange boy is on a thyroid pill and has healthy bloodwork, but has lost a lot of weight last few years. We’ve went through nearly all types and varieties of food. Finally have landed on something he will eat consistently (for now) - fancy feast chopped grill canned and this. I mash up the chopped grill in a bowl with 1/4 can of water and a scoop of this. It feels like a win, and he’ll eat 1/4 in the morning and a few smaller times during the day, then 1/4 at night. He has dry available (science diet and fancy feast) but this combo is working for now. Not sure it really adds weight, but at least helping get him to eat.

I have two 17-year old girls. I noticed they started loosing weight, their ribs and backbone became very prominent. The hair was matting, no matter how often I would brush them.It is not my first rodeo, so I started getting ready for inevitable.After three months of adding this stuff to their wet food, they both gained back almost all the weight, their long fur again is shiny and thick. The two were running around and jumping like kittens, scaling walls and ended up on top of my wall unit.Try it and I hope it does for your babies what its doing for mine.

We have a 19 year old cat that keeps losing weight even though we feed him wet food whenever he wants it. I really wanted this product to help him get some extra calories. Unfortunately, he apparently hates the smell or taste of this stuff. If we mix it in with his wet food he won't even touch it, even in small doses.
