They won't produce fruit within 2 wks. They have to grow to approx. 7 to 8 ft. and may not produce same year, but maybe the next yr.This variety produce's full size banana's, some plant's have dwarf size fruit.Bob **Q: Will this grow in Maryland?** A: It will grow well once temperatures get into the sixties, you must bring it inside once the fall temps dip below 60°F as to prevent dying back to the corn. This guy will get big if you keep the temp stable and humidity up, I would suggest a 20-40 gallon pot to transplant into after your plant comes out of shipping shock. Leave indoors until your nights increase above 55 degrees F. I transferred it to a bigger pot and it did ok for the first week and the leaves start turning brown today (on day 8th). There are 4 leaves, three of them are dying, the only very top one still green but I could see the sign of changing color. The temperature in my location is about 55-60 at night and 70-79 daytime. I assumed it stressing out from the transplanted and will be get back in couple weeks (I hope). I paid twice comparing current price listed and hope that my cash not turn in to trash.
