Another brilliant book by Lorna Scobie, plenty of ideas to try

Excellent item but shame about corners being damaged in transit. This is a present.

It's a fun book and great ideas however the paper, I felt, was too thin. My son liked using his Fabio liners and it stained the page behind. The purpose of this book should be to be able to use any medium of colours but of course that's not the case. Even his firm pencil drawings left a mark behind. Otherwise it's a great book- so many ideas. They are simple and nice. Mostly for a beginner I would say. It helps my son relax alot and he loves it.

I gave this book to someone who recently retired- she loved it and got inspired! Indeed she decided to enrol in an art course.

Bought as a gift for my mum who struggled to get inspiration on what to draw and paint next - gives her an idea every day. Perfect. Will be buying more of the same author.

This is a wonderful way for me to 1. Warm up before an art session , 2. Get some new ideas on illustrations, colour choices in my art and more 3. Unblocking and 4. Relaxing fun! The paper is good quality so you can use fineliners, watercolour or gouache, collage papers as well as pencils and pens. Dont use promarkers though as they bleed through. There's a wide variety of activities and depending on your level or mood you can make what you like out of the pages, keeping to the prompts or giving your own twists. There's no need to do the activities in order and I dip in and out two or threetimes a day! I'm enjoying it so much and am pleased to learn that there are three more similar books which I'll be looking into!

I got this book for myself as I wanted to get back into drawing but was out of practice and ideas , this book is well made with a variety of tasks from very basic mark making to drawing full scenes but with emphasis on the enjoyment of the process rather then worrying if the result is good.

I feel like this is such a stress buster. Mood relaxer. Each day there is a new task. And I love it cuz it’s not monotonous and boring. It re-ignited my fond for art. The quality of paper is good for pencil, fine line pens and pastels. But for any kind of painting, it’s not good and you might need to apply gesso.

365 days Heck if you did it every other day it lasted you twice as long. This is fun for Creative Minds and for folks who always wanted to give drawing a try. If you're really good at stick figures, even if you're not, this will take you several levels and it's fun.
