First thing: the moment they arrive, PLANT THEM. Once in awhile I'll receive an desertcart package and won't open it for a day, forgetting that I'd ordered something perishable. That can be a harsh existence for a living plant. I'm a hack gardener and haven't yet mastered when to harvest, etc., but I'll assume my sweet potatoes are alive down there 'cause the above-ground growth has been pretty good. We'll see! Review: Sweet potatoes without sweetness - The slips are worthless, they were sticks with very little root, I waited until they had roots planted then and they died. I wasted my 40$. Don't buy. ## Features - GROW SWEET POTATOS: Sweet potatoes are an excellent source of vitamins C and E and contain iron, fiber, and potassium. The tubers are also a good source of beta-carotene, which is an orange pigment that is converted into vitamin A in the body and helps to protect vision loss and improve the skin. - UNIQUE PLANTS: Red Sweet Potato Slips to Grow. Turn heads with these fast grower. Amazing color and taste. Easy to Grow - GROWING TIPS: Plant in good loose organic soil after the threat of frost has passed.. Keep the seed bed free of weeds and water as needed. - CZ GRAIN GUARANTEE: Buy with confidence from CZ Grain. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DX8KTK7K | | Best Sellers Rank | #302,948 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #4,426 in Vegetable Plants & Seeds | | Brand | CZ Grain | | Brand Name | CZ Grain | | Color | red | | Customer Reviews | 3.1 out of 5 stars 80 Reviews | | Manufacturer | CZ Grain | | Size | 6 Slips | | Unit Count | 12 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** CZ Grain - **Color:** red - **Manufacturer:** CZ Grain - **Unit Count:** 12.0 Count ## Images ![Re Garnet Sweet Potato Slips for Growing - Easy to Grow, Red Yams (6 Slips) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51xEGAf8qaL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lots Of Greenery Above Ground - We'll See What's Down There! *by B***R on May 7, 2026* While I've had mixed results with these slips (I've purchased them three times), my lack of better success is almost certainly operator error. I wasted my 40$. Don't buy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just Order Them! *by J***S on June 8, 2026* I received 13 slips (ordered 12)! They were all in excellent condition. The package contained very easy to understand and well written instructions on planting and care. I got them right into the soil as recommended. The price was well below any others that I found. I would also like to add that I received the product exactly one week earlier than expected. I would most certainly recommend the company CZ Grain. I have no doubt that I will get a bumper crop of Red Garnet sweet potatoes (my favorite). Photo of plants taken 5 weeks after planting! I think we'll have a good harvest! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/703005726-re-garnet-sweet-potato-slips-for-growing-easy-to-grow](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/703005726-re-garnet-sweet-potato-slips-for-growing-easy-to-grow) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
