I picked up this AstroAI digital tire pressure gauge to keep in my truck while working on my builds, and it’s been a solid tool so far. It gives quick, consistent readings in PSI, which is exactly what I use, so there’s no need to mess with switching modes. Note: Adding this note to my review a few months after what I wrote below. Came to find out that this gauge consistently reads 2.5-3.0 PSI higher than actual pressure. I couldn't figure out why our 2 cars and 1 truck's TPMS sensors all read high after filling up with this gauge. The consistency across the board was 2.5-3.0PSI high. Once you know this, you can account for it when filling the tires but it's a pain to have to remember and account for it when filling widely varying tires. Example: I have a handtruck that needs 16PSI in the tires. One car is 35PSI and my truck is 55PSI. Hard to remember to account for that. I guess you get what you pay for. Still, the gauge is still running and it gets used several times per month and not really babied at all. The backlit digital gauge is very easy to see. Trigger works smoothly and air fills the tire at a good pace and predictably. The air release button is a really nice feature and overall it's built pretty well. Two areas for improvement: A longer hose and a swivel fitting on the hose. The hose that attaches to the valve stem is pretty short and depending where the valve stem is you may have to twist and contort the inflator to attach it. Sometimes, the gauge face winds up facing the tire instead outward towards you, so you have to twist it to read the gauge, putting strain on the hose and fittings. A swivel fitting on the hose would fix this problem. For those with a dually pickup truck, the hose will likely be too short to reach the inner tire. Also, the clip-on valve chuck is nice to have and frees up a hand instead of having to hold the chuck onto the valve stem. But, if your valve stem happens to be located near a spoke of the wheel, if you have spoke-style wheels, the clip on the chuck may interfere and hit the spoke, meaning you have to twist the chuck around so that the clip doesn't hit the spoke. Then you run into the short hose/needs a swivel problem stated above. These are minor complaints though. The unit is built well, feels good in the hand, feels like it will last. Would buy again.

The gauge is really nice and works well but a lot of the negative reviews were accurate about the air chuck ! Before I was able to inflate one tire I ended changing out the chuck to one of my old ones because the one that comes with this is so hard to stop from leaking. Shouldn't have to spend more time trying to connect to the valve stem than it takes to inflate the tire.

This inflator is very handy and was suggested by a full time small engine mechanic. It is easy to read the digital display because it is bright and large. Just pull the trigger to inflate and watch the pressure rise. If you overinflated there is a button to press that vents the air out to lower the pressure. The quality seems to be good and it is comfortable is hand.

Product works very well. Love that it has a lock for the tire stem. Price was very good.

Ok, I just got this yesterday so I have no idea on longevity. However, it works wonderfully now!!! I have been wanting something like this for a long time. I just want to put the air hose on the valve stem and watch the air on a gauge. Having to put some air in, then put the gauge on the tire, then a little more air, then gauge and then it's too much air pressure! You check the air as you go and if you over shoot a bit there is a button to let it back out. So much faster.

Quality inflator with accurate pressure gauge. Its great being able to change units at a press of a button from psi to BAR to kPa to kgf/cm2. Thanks to its auto power off, the battery looks like it will last years before needing to be replaced.

This product has never failed me after using every weekend offroading for almost two years. The pressure gauge has always given accurate reading everytime. Highly recommend this product.
