I especially like the network traffic meter and my devices gained considerable speed. The only complaint is that Netgear does not supply any sort of wall mount bracket. Once the power cable and network cables are plugged in, the router will not stand up on a flat surface. Very annoying. I 3D printed a wall mount on my own but it would have been nice for Netgear to spend an extra 50 cents and provide one. Heaven knows they collect enough $$$.

Title: Definitely worth it! Description: I bought this as an alternative to my other router, I've never had a Nighthawk router but it's standing up to its popularity. Love how easy it was to setup. The connection has been consistently stable and good, the only issue I would say I have is the settings, I would they were a bit more user friendly and customizable for gaming. Otherwise great router for the price.

Super easy to set up, the app walks you through everything. My old router was dropping constantly, and this fixed it immediately. Strong signal throughout the house and even outside. Solid upgrade and worth it.

If you want to be able to blacklist or whitelist websites, set an internet schedule for users, or monitor connected devices, and/or edit accessibility via DNS functions on your router because you have teenagers in your home. DO NOT BUY THIS! You cannot even pay for a parental control subscription on this RS100 via the app or myrouter.net login. If these do not apply to you, the router does what it needs to do and you can add stars to my review and keep reading reviews.

This boosted wifi speeds ten fold! Easy to set up (as long as your default gateway is named differently or has its wifi disabled) and small form factor. Highly recommend for a single household or small family.

Quick and easy install. I declined to install the iPhone app and installed from my PC. Literally took 15 minutes to get up and running and has all the features I need.

Our old router had to have an Orbi system connect to it to give us decent wifi coverage in the backyard. This router, which is connected to fibre at the front of the house, reaches all the way to the back fence, on a 400sm block with no issues at all.

I have had endless problems with this router. Its auto selection of 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz signal confuses my Apple Watch and iPhone. So I turned that feature off and renamed the two networks separately. Now it recognises the faster network but keeps dropping out and eventually won’t let me connect to it. Furthermore, where once I could get a signal anywhere in the house, to connect some things I need to be sitting tight next to the router. After that I can go anywhere in the house or yard and it’s ok. This router tries to be too fancy and it’s giving me a headache as every day I need to reconfigure settings to get it to work properly.

A brilliant piece of kit ... fast and smooth with plenty of gear hanging off it

Very difficult to set up. Spent 2.5 hours on hold before giving up. Had some success with online chat but still too 1.5 hours because chat would drop out when there was any delay in response from netgear or me. Once set up it works well.
